I honestly cannot for the life of me figure out why there are so many people on here saying that everything about this place is horrible. I'd suspect that either they're not very familiar with brew pubs and breweries, or their standards are set way too high and they're closed off to trying anything new. As for people complaining about service, I'm willing to bet they were either there during a busy time of day or were expecting way too much out of their servers. My husband and I recently went to Bull & Bush with a friend, our first time there, to try their brews and have some lunch. While I can't say that any of us are beer experts, and we don't brew ourselves, my husband and I are beer nerds, as we call ourselves. We love beer. Good beer. We've been to a ton of local breweries and brew pubs here in Colorado, and are wanting to eventually visit them all. We've had some really bad beer and some really good beer, and Bull & Bush's brews rank towards the top of the list of good beer. Some of their beers are a little different; they had a Yule Fuel Lambic that was very unique, and while I wasn't keen on it my husband loved it. We all loved their Dunkelweiss, which is very tasty, and my husband loved their Man Beer. We both felt their beer was well-brewed, anyone saying otherwise might have gotten a bad batch, or perhaps doesn't know as much about beer as they think. Who knows.
As for their food, it's a little different as well. Yes, their burgers are served on rolls, not buns. I don't see why anyone would complain about something so petty. While my burger was slightly overcooked, I'm used to this as I like my burgers to be very pink in the middle. Not many places are able to do that, and some places flat out won't. But if it's a good burger, it doesn't matter if it's slightly overcooked. This was a good burger. None of us had any complaints about the food. My husband had their ""Bullrito"", which he said was excellent, and our friend got their Quesadilla, which is enormous, and he seemed to enjoy as well since he finished the whole thing.
I'd also have to say that the service was wonderful. Our server was very friendly and attentive. She was always stopping by to check on us as she'd be heading back and forth from the bar to her other tables, asking if the food was all right or if we needed more beer. And while it did sometimes take a while for her to get our drinks, every time she came out with drinks she was carrying pints for more than one table. Anyone who would complain about waiting on drinks when a server is getting drinks for multiple tables is just a jerk.
Overall Bull & Bush was a great brew pub in my opinion, and I really feel that anyone else who enjoys going to brew pubs and breweries would enjoy it as well.
Pros: All around a good Brew Pub
Cons: Not really anything
