When I was younger and wilder.... in the 70's this was a great spot for that hangover bloody Mary and brunch on Sunday morning. Deciding to try it again after not going there for years.... we were very pleasantly surprised. We got there early, 4ish, and its a good thing. This place, like always, gets busy fast. No wonder. Our meal was very good. I had the all you can eat fish and chips. Its hard to ask for more as the portion is generous. Mrs. Food Snob had a salad, fresh and filling. I was surprised that after all these years, it is still clean, friendly and worth regular visits.
Pros: timeless coolness
