I received a ring as a birthday gift from a friend and wanted to wear it out that night to my birthday party. I took my ring to several jewelers and none of them were able to size it for me within less than 3 weeks. I brought my ring to Jewel Tech and they were able to size it for me THAT DAY and had it ready for me to wear before I went out that night - I couldn't believe it! Not only that, someone called to follow-up with me a few days later to make sure that everything fit right and asked if I had a great time on my birthday. My fiance & I bought a GORGEOUS diamond engagement ring from this store around the holidays. At first we were overwhelmed by the large selection of diamond rings, but the friendly staff there took the time to work with us and educate us on diamonds. This store carries a variety of all different types of jewelry. From Rolex watches , to chains. The employees are friendly and very helpful, with a wide base of knowledge with the jewelry. I recently purchased a pre-owned ladies Rolex Datejust from Jewel Tech and absolutely LOVE IT!!! Prior to visiting this store, I had shopped just about every jewelry store in Atlanta looking for the best deal and found that most other jewelers are severely over-priced and offer minimal, if any, warranty on their watches. I was amazed when I walked into Jewel Tech and discovered that they not only had the exact model I was looking for, but it was nearly HALF THE PRICE of other jewelry stores and had also been completely serviced and came with a two-year warranty. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and made me feel like I was family!\r \r I HIGHLY recommend this store to anybody in the market for a Rolex or any other fine jewelry!\r I Pros: Excellent prices & customer service! Their mistakes become your responsibility! The employees that run this pathetic establishment are uneducated, unethical, and flat out rude. I took a necklace here to get repaired only to have it returned in worse condition. They sent me away with a ruined piece of jewelry. When I approached them about their faulty work they gave me one excuse after the other as to why they would not fix it properly or refund my repair charges. They actually claimed I had done something to the necklace and offered to charge me an additional $30 to have them ""try again."" Not only were they not willing to work with ""a customer"" (never again) they were disrespectful and in no way understand how to run a successful business. I took a chain that had broken to get it fixed. When I picked up my chain (or someone else's ?!?) it was 4 inches longer than when I dopped it off. They told me that it was my fault that I stretched the chain and that they would charge me another $24 to fix their mistake. I have never written a review before and felt this experience was bad enough to let others know not to make the same mistake. Do not shop at Jewel Tech or let them fix your jewelry. The ""jeweler"" at this outfit closely examined several items I wanted to have engraved, accepted them, charged my credit card a hefty fee ($126 for 17 letters), and assured me the result would be perfect and ready to pick up in a day or two. Five days later nothing was engraved. They didn't call, they didn't send me a letter... nothing. They didn't even issue a refund to my credit card until I made a third trip back just to demand it. Looking around their shop I should have known better... it's disorganized, tacky, and run-down. If I could leave a zero star review I would... avoid Jewel Tech at all costs!! Cons: Terrible service, poor selection, high prices, lousy atmosphere more

Nice selection and great prices. Helpful staff, with broad knowledge of merchandise. They also have a quick turn around time with repairs. more
