Extremely Poor Service 7/4/2009

On 4/16/09, I contacted Brandon TV based on suggestions from Warrantec, the warranty company my contract is with. My 50"" plasma TV was picked up by Brandon TV on 4/17/09 for repair. About 2 days later I did not hear back so I called and spoke to Nathan who tells me that it could take a while to fix because this warranty company takes a while to settle their claims. I wish that I had asked how long because I just got my TV back on 6/29/09. Working with Nathan was extremely difficult. I don't think he knows what he is doing. I think the reason it took so long was because he never filed a claim nor followed correct procedures with the warranty company. It took me getting involved on 5/29/09 before Nathan sent the invoice over. Nathan was rude to say the least. When I challenged him on the length of time to resolve the issue and what had happened, he yelled at me. He told me that what I was going through was not his problem and that he could careless. Now how can a company continue to be in business whe they treat their customers this way. I definetely learned my lesson NEVER USE BRANDON TV AGAIN. I really wished I would have read the reviews on line before allowing them to pick up my TV. EXTREMELY POOR SERVICE IS THE ANSWER. I really am surprised they are still in business. To maintain customer loyalty I would recommend that the owner of Brandon TV take a closer look at this Nathan. Because of Nathan, Brandon TV is losing many customers. When does it become the customer's fault that there are issues between the warranty company and the local service repair. I HOPE THAT OTHER CUSTOMERS READ THIS WHICH IS THE REAOSON I TOOK THE TIME TO WRITE THIS. I am still shocked by the level of service I received. Wow --- Nathan I hope you fix your attitude. Bad Business Practices 3/31/2009

We turned in an electronic device to be repaired at Brandon TV. They had it for over two months, and told us they needed to order a power modulator so the system would turn on so they could check it. The part never arrived. They don't return our phone calls. We would call them on a regular basis to get an update on the progress, and no one would return our calls. We asked for them to return our deposit because no work was done on our system. So they refused to return our money. So we took our system home and the unit turned on fine. This is just to let others know that Brandon TV and Computer Repair rips people off!!!!!!!! Cons: not an honest business man more

Do NOT trust these people!!! 2/26/2009

We took our laptop here because the hinge of the screen was broken, althought the computer worked perfect! We told them that the computer was under warranty and we just needed them to fill out the form to let the warranty company know that the hinge was broken. When we picked the computer up it was a different computer with ports that were never on our computer before. Also, it was an XP when our copmputer was Vista. On top of that, the computer they said was ours wouldn't even turn on as they said it was fried. During the argument the guy made the comment that we shouldn't care since we were getting a new one from the warranty, but we don't have access to anything that was on the computer...he had the nerve to offer to do a recovery backup to get our info off of it. Of course, he couldn't do that while we were there. My husband is on his way to best buy with our original receipt of purchase so they can prove that things were switched. BEWARE of this hole in the wall! more

Bad Service - Don't go there for Warranty Repairs 7/18/2006

This company had my 26-inch flat panel LCD tv for 4 weeks for a warranty repair (the TV was only 6 weeks old). When I dropped the TV off, they told me they would look at in a few days. A week later they still hadn't looked at the TV. On the third week they told me that they had a part on order, but didn't know what part. Apparently their business practice doesn't include writing down what they order. I called the manufacturer to see if this was normal and they told me to find out what was ordered and they would find out if the part was on back-order. My fiance called them several times asking what was ordered. He received the same reply each time - We don't know, call back in an hour. One would think that calling back a day later would result in the information being gathered, but NO. Each time he called he was told to call back in an hour. Well, people have jobs and can't spend their day hounding the TV repair facility for simple information that they should have available. My fiance (he told them he was my husband), told them to either call him with the information or put the tv in the box and we'll pick it up. Well, probably not the best thing to do, because they decided to box it up instead of getting the information to us so we could follow through with the manufacturer. This company has no idea what customer service is. Amusingly, when I called to see what they had done with the TV, they were able to tell me that they cancelled the order for the part and that it cost $400, why then couldn't they give us the information any of the other times we called? Besides the complete lack of customer regard, the place is a dump and I was afraid to walk in the door. Save yourself a hassle and do not go there.

\r \r Follow up: They finally did fix my TV. In total, they had itTV for 3 months, but it is fixed now and I have had no further problems with it. Pros: Magnavox Authorized Repair facility Cons: Complete lack of customer service more
