Travis Was Great 3/12/2014

We were on our way out of town and Bostech scheduled Travis to fix our broken heater. He located a dirty sensor and had the heater up in running within an hour. Recommended. more

Technician was great 12/26/2013

Travis arrived the afternoon of Christmas Eve. I had scheduled a normal winter heating checkup. Shortly after arriving to my house Travis noticed that I had a carbon monoxide leaking fom my system. My entire heating and cooling sytem needed replacing. He stayed Christmas Eve until 9:30. Most people would have said they would schedule sometime after Christmas to come back, but Travis insisted he wanted me to have heat for Christmas. Travis is a dedicated and knowledgeable employee at Bostech. He came back the day after Christmas to finish installing my new system. Bostech is lucky to have Travis working for them. more

Travis and Bostech were great! 10/24/2013

Travis was by far the best person we have had come to our home to do any type of maintenance. He cared that we didn't have our AC in the middle of summer! He came back and fixed our AC the same day. He did everything he said he was going to do. Will definitely use bostech again because of Travis! Thanks more

Bostech has very bad customer service. The company staff who handles the bookings and receive phone calls were not courteous at all. They were called on a holiday and we paid the overtime, however the ac was not fixed as they did not send the tech with appropriate parts. They came back the next day giving a 4 hour window and still they were late. Nobody called to apologise for the delay and when I called, it was like we are sorry but there is nothing we can do about it. They do not take the customers time and health into consideration at all. They would not even provide any discounts for the inconvenience caused to the customer. more

Bostech Services installed defective parts and couldn't diagnose a problem. 8/23/2013

I had to call another plumber out to fix the work Bostech Services did. Bostech came out and put new flappers inside two toilets because they were leaking. They installed defective flappers, which caused the toilets to run a lot. Then they came to check that out on a follow up visit. I had heard a hissing noise and thought there was a leak. He looked around and said there wasn't. He was wrong; there was. He never turned the hot water heater off and that's where the leak was: in the hot water pipes. Had he turned it off he would have found that there was a leak. I paid them close to $300 just for putting the flappers in the two toilets. Then I had to pay another company just about the same to fix what they did. The other company did find the leak and fixed it. I'm just lucky enough that I had enough money to pay the other plumber. Someone on a fixed income may not have. more

Bostech is timely, professional, and worth the money. 8/16/2013

Bostech Services has serviced my tank-less hot water heater. They've come out a couple times to service it, do work, and do maintenance on it. It's been okay. They're trying to get me to a better place than when I started. I had it installed by someone else and they installed it incorrectly, so Bostech has been trying to get to me to where I don't have any issues. They've come out four or five times over the past few years. I brought someone else in before this last visit and it was clear that this new person didn't know what he was talking about. So I feel comfortable with Bostech's technicians in terms of their knowledge, thoroughness, and desire to make this situation better. They're pretty good and I would recommend them. more

Electrical diagnosis and fix for AC 8/14/2013

After listening to what transpired to cause the trouble, and showing him the equipment location, Travis quickly identified the trouble and had the the part on hand to get my AC running as needed in this Texas heat. more

Very pleased with the professionalism and the service of the technician. 8/12/2013

I had never used Bostech before. The name was given to me by a plumbing company and the man who looked them up for me didn't have any experience with Bostech either. The gentleman who came to do work was exceptional. He was very friendly, professional, and thorough, so I was very pleased with that. He was diagnosing a problem with a hot water heater and he got all the information on the warranty and got it fixed and taken care of. The service is great. I'm sorry it's so expensive, but that's because we live so far away. He was here in half an hour. It's what they charge, I guess. more

Okay. 8/9/2013

We had an outside water hydrant and there appeared to be a leak behind it between the hydrant and the bricks in a wall of the house. Bostech Service came out and fixed that. I might have to mark them down in that it was very difficult to make contact with them. I didn't know who to talk to and left messages and nobody called me back, so it took a few days. I didn't have an emergency. On the menu it had an option for if you have a water emergency. So I was sent to the general mailbox and left messages there a couple of times. The overall experience was fine, though. Once they came out, they did a good job. I just don't like the menu when you dial in. more

Kept troubleshooting till the problem was solved 7/24/2013

Travis, Robert, and James all came to my house on different trips with multiple problems on two old units. Each of these professionals was attentive, kind and was always focused on eliminating the problems our systems had. Travis was dispatched out one last time and completed the last troubleshooting steps eliminating the final problem and restoring our air once and for all. Our thanks to each of these three professionals who each contributed to fixing the old systems quickly. more

Both AC units were out and Bostech came the same day! Travis was courteous, knowledgable and helpful. I also appreciated his phone calls to let me know the status of his arrival. In addition, Travis informed of me of a related problem I might have with my alarm transformer, and he even killed some wasps for me in the doorway!! Thanks again Travis. more

Bostech Services had to install a new electric plug outside of my patio. They arrived on time, which is important to me. They called ahead to make sure they are on their way. The quality the work was good. more
