Five stars for the three dozen colossal crabs that I still can't stop thinking about three days later. I have no idea what else is on their menu, and no thoughts past the pure joy that comes from being elbow-deep in crab meat, guts, and shells, focused only on eeking out every last delicious morsel. more

Came here w family and my boyfriend. We had a good mix of requests- a couple of almost-toddlers to accomodate, one vegetarian, four people adventurous enough to dig into whole crabs, and one diner who wanted crab but didnt want to do all the hammering and work Overall I think we left pretty satsifie. For the appetizers the giant onion rings were good with a thick crispy batter and good dressing. I liked the whole steamed crabs covered in Old Bay (our reason for going in the first place). more

Best crabs in Baltimore! So basically...BEST CRABS IN THE WORLD! We ordered one heaping order of jumbo crabs (which you should order if you get the chance since they usually sell out by the end of the night). The service was fast, efficient, and friendly. Enjoying your dinner on the deck in full view of the ocean makes the seafood taste even fresher. Walking out of here with your fingers stained slightly orange is a souvenir worth millions. more

everything about our Monday night crab feast at Bo's was flawless. Even better is that they ship, so I can have an old bay crab party in California any time I want, or at least with a days notice. more

I travel extensively and I'm always open for a new restaurant. My boyfriend and went and we loved it. Our server, Amy went above and beyond. The manager stopped by and asked how we were doing. Maybe they read the reviews, who knows. Our dinner was really good as well. I had a soft shell crab platter with 2 sides. I have no complaints. more

Reasonably priced, crabs were fresh, appetizers were generous and tasty. I would recommend the crab dip. more

Is it possible to rate negative stars?\r \r We just recently moved to the area and only have a few friends here. One of them highly recommended Bo Brooks for my husbands birthday and we all decided to go. \r \r Since we recently moved from a land locked state, we were very excited about eating seafood again!! \r \r The service was AWFUL, probably the worst we've ever had; specifically:\r \r *The server was angry\r *She took our order and completely got orders wrong! My husband ordered grilled fish, she brought fried fish. He ordered potato salad she brought a baked potato (and then charged us extra for the potato salad even though he never got it!)\r *My friend specifically asked for no tomatoe (he has a food allergy), and there was tomatoe all over his dinner \r *The server didn't provide any silverware for one of my kids so I ended up giving them mine and eating my food with a knife.\r *Another in our party's food was so cold she sent it back\r *My food and my daugher's macaroni were extremely cold\r *Another in our party didn't get her food until 35 minutes AFTER the rest of us. Her husbands food was cold and we all ate without her which felt rude. We were all finished by the time her food arrived.\r *I asked for one refill and I didnt' get it until 15 minutes later.\r \r When we asked to see the manager, she got angry at us! Our friend who recommended the restaurant was completely apologetic and embarassed to have positively endorsed them. My husband ate fried food that he hated and we had to argue about the bill for incorrect charges.\r \r The manager was curt; she cut us off mid complaint saying ""I'll take care of it ok?"" and didn't come back for 20 min. When she came back she removed the ""things we complained about"" but since she didn't stick around and cut us off, she didn't hear our full complaint.\r \r I spoke with her on our way out and she still didn't hear the whole complaint. She snatched the check from my hand and said she would just pay it herself. But she never heard my full story! She didn't care.\r \r When we were leaving, even though she had said my parking was validated, it wasn't. I had to go back in and run so not to go over their 2 hour rule.\r \r We went to Starbucks for coffee and to laugh, but honestly I feel pretty bad about my husband's birthday dinner. \r \r Diners beware! more

I use to eat at Bo Brooks all the time, but recently I went there with my husband and one of the staff members told us everything was reserved after we was told outside was available. A waiter sat us outside, and the staff member came over and again said, ""this area is reserved and every table in the entire restaurant is reserved. I spoke to the manager who was nice and he told us we were okay. Then I went back with my girlfriends, and we sat there for 20 min before the waiter came over, after he walked passed us numerous times. Also, I never seen a black waiter, but I do see black staff members coming out the kitchen only. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! more

We took my sister to this restaurant and we order some crabs. \r It supouse they were large but the size was defenitely in the small range... we sent back 3 crabs that were ridiculous small and they brought back the same crabs.\r When we start eating them a funky smell came out and we find out that at least 2 of them were rotten... We asked to talk with the manager who appologyzed for serving rotten food and asked us if we wanted another order but of the extra large because he didnt have more ""large crabs"". It was a big dissapointment because I dont think the manager took our complaint seriously...... he was kind enough to take the crabs out of the check (by the way we find the rotten crabs immediately so we didnt finish even one crab each one.\r I will never go back !!! more

Do not waste your time going to Bo Brooks! Planning a girls night out, I called at 11:30 am to see if they had crabs and if a reservation would be required. They said ""oh yes, we always have crabs and no reservation required"", it was Thursday. Upon arrival at 4:30 pm, the same day, we asked for outdoor seating. They sat us at a table next to 2 screaming kids and parents that obivously didn't care. We asked to move. They then seated us at a table that had a broken leg and got ""upset"" when we asked to move again. We placed our order, a round of drinks, which took 20 minutes to arrive, even after asking 3 times. We then ordered crabs and were told they didn't have them ""yet"", they were being sorted and it would take about an hour, then we could order ""based on sizes they had after being sorted"" and it would take an additional 30 minutes to cook. At 7:00, when we received our ""JUMBO"" dozen of crabs for $93, the shells were burned, the crabs barely looked legal in size. We each ate one and left. We did ask for the Manager, after 20 minutes he showed up and gave us some sort of appetizer ""for free"". It was horrible as well. So needless to say, I will never go back and have been telling EVERYONE I know as well that this place is not worth the time or money! Total bill, excluding the free appetizer, was $164.57. Of course we had some adult beverages, hence the additional cost. They went back at times as well because the beer was warm. Pros: VALIDATED PARKING! Cons: EVERYTHING BUT PARKING VALIDATION! more

Great menu choices and atmosphere! Bo Brooks is right on the water and parking gets validated so you don't have to pay for parking!! Huge selection of half price apps and drinks and in this economy we all could use some great discounts! Totally worth the trip! Pros: 1/2 price apps and drinks from 2-7pm! I recently had the privilege of going to Bo Brooks Restaurant for Dinner. Being a true Marylander I wanted to have the best crabs around and had heard very good things about Bo Brooks. I am so glad that I went because I had an amazing time. The crabs were steaming hot and fresh with just enough spice to sting your lips. The service was amazing everyone was smiling and they all looked so happy to be working there. The half and half soup was to die for I have never tasted anything so delicious before. The menu was extremely diverse in selection and prices and it was money well spent because the crabs were huge! The view is spectacular too right on the water so we made sure to get a table outside. I am so excited to find out that they deliver crabs just about anywhere so my next party is going to be a crab feast for sure. And after hearing about their fabulous happy hour I am definitely going to go back with a group of friends. I can't say enough about this fantastic restaurant so make sure that you check it out!
