bluehour is my neighborhood restaurant and I am probably there way too much, but its a Portland favorite. The food is consistently well executed and flavorful [I want to roll in the black truffle gnocchi sauce] and the staff warm and welcoming. My favorites include the salmon tartar, bacon wrapped scallops, and anything that Chef Drew has as a special [fried green tomatoes with fried oysters last summer were amazing]. The bar menu is also a good find, with great pasta and an excellent fondue. And one of the best burgers in town.\r

The only negatives that I can think of are a rather pedestrian wine list [but that is changing for the better] and tough parking in the Pearl [which is why they have a valet!].\r

Go and enjoy the food and the great people. And avoid the attitude and wanna be folks that tend to inhabit the bar on the weekends with their turned up shirt collars, loud voices and taste for Tiajuana Speed Balls.
Pros: ambience, food, waitstaff
Cons: parking [so use the valet!], crowded bar
