The food can be good, depending on who's in the kitchen. The cinnamon buns are the best, by far. Avoid french toast unless you like is undercooked. The biscuits and jam are great....

Don't bother, you won't get seated 2/16/2004

my fiance and i employed the ""three strikes/out"" rule. i would have liked to have commented on our experience but that is just the point -we didn't get that far - even after three attempts of waiting along time - only to have many couples seated before us - some even at one of the two 4-tops! i'll admit, we were with a party of four each time so i guess it's only fair to say that the place might be good for parties of two or less...with that limitation you're better off going somewhere else. more

Well worth the wait 1/9/2003

My friends and I never knew just how good breakfast could be until we went to the blue moon cafe. Now that we've been, we continue to have cravings for the best homemade breakfast around! more

Consistently delicious food. Every breakfast choice I have ever had here has been better than in any other restaurant in Baltimore. Pros: Great food, Great coffee drinks, Reasonably priced Cons: No reservations, small dining room, wait during busy time more

Uneven and unpredictable 9/30/2002

The food can be good, depending on who's in the kitchen. The cinnamon buns are the best, by far. Avoid french toast unless you like is undercooked. The biscuits and jam are great. If only the service was as good. You never know how long breakfast will take, it could be 30 minutes or an hour or 30 minutes. The waits on weekends are hellacious. If you're looking for a quick meal, head somewhere else. Pros: inexpensive Cons: crowded, slow service more

The Blue Moon Cafe is to breakfast, what Van Gogh was to color! Vibrant, tasty, and above all ENJOYABLE.
