Black Diamond Plumbing is un-reliable 12/5/2009

We had work done from Black Diamond, and it was fixed for less than 24 hours. Unfortunately the tech didn't tell me about the 24 hour guarantee and we were leaving on vacation for a week. Upon returning I called and they refused to come out and fix the problem without charging me. The manager was extremely dis-interested in handling this problem, and whats worse is we have used these guys before. Look for another plumbing contractor. more

Confused at Reviews.... 11/13/2009

After reading some of these reviews, i was a little hesitant, but decided to give them a try. I couldn't have been more impressed. They do charge a little more than average, but you get what you pay for. I am a business owner myself and I understand that there are costs in running a business. It does not all come down to "material & labor" like so many people here have commented on. There are many other costs that the end consumer doesn't realize like health insurance and insurance. Anyway, these guys did a great job and I know that they will be there for me in the future if i need them...even if it is in the middle of the night! It is too bad that companies like this somethimes get a bad rap because people don't understand business. Also, too many people are too quick to come here only to write a "bad" review. Overpriced Con artists. 10/27/2009

They charged my wife $568 to install a $150 sump pump. Old one had even been removed already, so half the work was done for them. Took them an hour, so it was over $400 labor for an hours work. When I called to complain about the price they were extermely rude, and ignorant basically saying tough luck they agreed to the price. They even said $400 dollars an hour was not that high, and then made a stupid comment asking if I'd be happier if it had taken them 12 hours. Rude, ignorant, and pray on the unknowing... better do some reseach and get some idea of what it should REALLY cost before trusting these crooks. more

Overpriced Schysters 7/18/2009

They charged my grandparents 600 dollars to replace a kitchen faucet that was not broken. It needed a 10 cent washer that I had in my truck to put in on my next visit. The faucet they put in was Moen, but a 100 dollar box store special. That's 500 dollar in labor for a what for me, a DIY'er, would be 45 minute job tops. Go with somebody else. Somebody that doesn't prey on the elderly. more

THANK YOU ! 10/13/2008

We found our water heater was leaking all over the basement floor. Called the plumbing company who had installed, and left a message of my "emergency" after waiting almost two hours with no call we called Black Diamond at 10PM. They responded and at our home within the hour! They diagnosed the problem, cleaned up the water and recommended replacing the heater. After the plumber (who was very professional) gave us the price, we told him to go ahead. He removed our old heater and installed the new one. After they were done you could not tell i had water in basement or a huge heater taken up the carpeted stairs and new one brought down. It is nice to know there are service people who do respond to you in emergencies asap. more

Awesome Customer Service! 10/13/2008

I had Black Diamond out over the weekend. I tried a bunch of companies, but they were the only ones to actually answer the phone. They sent someone within the hour and fixed the problem. They were so nice and the work area looked even better than when they started! I would highly recommend this company! more

I agree with the previous reviewer--this company is VERY overpriced, does not leave their work area the way that they found it, and are VERY rude when you call. I contacted one of the owners, personally, and I could not in my wildest imagination believe how rude, insulting, and unprofessionally he responded to my call. I recommend that you steer clear away from this company!! more

RUDE, OVERPRICED 7/27/2007

This company is extremely overpriced. We had to go with them because it was an emergency and unfortunately we did not check in with friends and family for referrals and got stuck with an insane bill for one hour of service. And they didn't even take our old appliance. Complete rip-off and management is completely unprofessional and rude. Save your money and go with a company that will not rip you off. more
