First, I was extremely disappointed that 3 days after I had purchased the CMax, the word came out that many vehicles (including mine) made during a certain time period were being recalled, because of a safety defect in the roof lining. It was not convenient for me to bring the car there for a whole day. The person who checked me into the Service dept. could not explain just what it was that needed to be done (just said that some part needed to be installed) and that was discouraging. However, they did fix the car properly and it was ready when promised, so at least the problem was solved. But I did feel that someone probably should have known of this problem before the car was turned over to me, and it could have been fixed before I took possession of the vehicle.
