Very good service 4/9/2012

I had to come in to get the oil changed and asked about new tires. Geoff was very polite, informative, and funny. When it was determined that I did need new tires, he gave me options and prices. I was very greatful to have some choices and he did not try to talk me into something I didn't need. Everything was completed and my car is in great shape. Here's to the next oil change. Who Would Have Thought???? 5/7/2011

My husband and I usually took our business to the other Big O in Placerville, on Placerville Drive - for many years--The man Ray, that we usually dealt with was not going to be there for about a year. He is serving our country in Iraq. We went to buy some more tires there and two of the men acted as though we were interupting them and it took a long, long time for them to even check on tires for our pick up - -that we had purchased tires there before. After a long, long wait, my husband said that we were just not interested and the price quote wads ridiculous. We left..... After a week or so, we dicided to call down at the Big O Tires in Cameron Park. The man that I spoke to was Geoff. He was so cheerful on the phone and said, Come On Down!!! So we did!!! What a difference ----We walked in, greeted with a smile from Geoff and within about 15 minutes, we were out the door - - I mean, what service, and a great price to!!! Everyone there was great. We told him that we would be back again, because we have 3 vehicles and we will never go back to the other Big O --- Thank you Geoff - - You truly know what customer service is all about!!!! more

Helpful 2/16/2011

I live in Cameron Park, CA. I recently had brake issues. I was so surprised to find great deals on my brakes @ Big O Tires. I have a Honda Accord. The management staff was very helpful, professional and courteous. I was not at all pressured to purchase anything that was not necessary for my car. I was out the door in 90 minutes with a sticker price of barley $150.00. What a great deal I will be sure to come back soon. more

BESTSERVICE 2/16/2011

Recently my husband and myself were in need of an oil change and a new set of tires. We had heard of the wonderful service @ Big O Tires in Cameron Park, CA. It is a bit of a drive for us living in Elk Grove, CA but well worth it. They were friendly & courteous. Dennis the manager and Geoff the assistant manager we so professional and took care of us like we were family. We were in and out in record time. We did some checking before we made the trip and was surprised to find out that they have one of the best tire deals around. We will be making the drive for even a simple oil change from now own more

Tried to Rip Me Off 2/11/2011

Went to this BigO to have my tires rotated and see what condition my brakes were in. They charged me $39 to rotate and balance tires and then told me that I needed all 4 brake pads and rotors. He knew I wasn't going to have the work done that day as I didn't have the time so I asked for a quote. He refused to give me a quote on the whole job, and explained that the situation could 'change' when I returned. I asked him if my brakes and rotors could conceivably get 'better' the next day. Instead, he printed out the cost of 4 brake pads and installation. I took my car to my local auto mechanic, said nothing about what BigO said and it turned out my rear rotors were like brand new. The difference in price between BigO (almost $800 including the tire rotation, 4 pads & rotors) and my local mechanic ($530). He became irritated when I told him to put the tires back on my car and I would think about it. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THAT STORE AGAIN, even in emergency! Not sure if he thought he could get away with it because I am female but as soon as he refused to give me a written quote for the 4 rotors I knew something wasn't right. How sad to take advantage of people during these trying economic times......... I would give 0 stars but it won't let me publish without giving at least 1 star.... now that is sad too. more

Low Tire Prices! High on Customer Service! 2/7/2011

Since I am Woman I expect my husband to take care of my car and when he doesn't I'm going to whether he likes it or not. So I made a trip to Big O Tires to get my tires rotated and I was Shocked to find my Rear tires were bald! The Helpful employee escorted me out to my car and showed me the damage on my tires. I was so happy to see that they did their job in looking at my car and treated with respect and kindness. Once I was back inside the sales person (I can't remember his Name) said that they had several options in stock for my 18" wheels and he even showed me a competitor's web site to prove to me that was making every effort in guaranteeing me a low price on the tire I needed. The best part was they didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need really need. Got my tires and got out! Simple as Pie. Thanks Big O Tires! I'll be back soon just not too soon! more

Great Store! 2/7/2011

Best Selection of tires up here. Will match any competitors prices. Prompt service. No appointment needed. Locally owned which is a plus for me. Fast service mostly just depends on what you need done. Always Friendly and Helpful. I Love Dennis and Dallas. They are so Fun and Great to do Business with. Thanks Guys! more

NEVER GO HERE!!!! Horrible customer service! 10/9/2008

NEVER go here! The employees are rude and condescending to women! The tires stink and you definitely don't get your money's worth! I bought expensive tires from Big O and they did not even last me two years. I went in to get my free tire rotation (which is part of the warranty) and they refused to do it unless I bought new tires from them! I couldn?t believe it! Horrible customer service! Pros: i agree with the guy above....if you like dirty bathrooms come here! Cons: bad customer service, expensive tires that are not made to last, always try to con you into getting things you don't need! more

Avoid, poor service and are after the $, not helpful 9/18/2008

This place is slow and their Big O Tires brand tires don't last and I had a tire with tread that just came apart from highway driving. They try to charge all these extra fees that they don't advertise and tell you your car has other problems that need expensive fixes for and all I wanted was my tire fixed. I took it for a 2nd opinion and the mechanic said that I wasn't the first one to be told false problems about brakes from these Big O Tire chains. Go to Costco for better prices and service. Pros: if you like dirty bathrooms Cons: poor service and quality, misleading advertising more
