Wonderful experience 5/11/2015

Our movers were very professional in every way. They showed up on time, worked fast, and got everything moved carefully and quickly. We had a piano move in the mix as well, and they obviously knew a lot about moving pianos. They were super-careful, and made it look easy. I wouldn't use anyone else to move. more

Best movers. Ever. 5/2/2015

My third time with these guys who are a class act. I first hired them to move a piano to my garage. I was impressed by their super careful tactics. Then I moved to a condo and hired them for the whole move due to solid cherry furniture and fragile family members who should not be lifting. Again exceptional attention to detail. Alas, a sudden condo switch and I hired them back again this time to move me to storage while condo renovated. Thought I was done for awhile until the day of closing I get a call from realtor that I had to suddenly get my refrigerator due to miscommunication with buyers. What could I do on short notice and due to go to night shift job. Called up Big Al's office and explained the situation. THAT DAY they accomodated the emergency need and helped me out. You can bet that once the "new" condo is ready I will be calling them back for the move=in. more

Polite, Friendly, Speedy, Efficient 4/23/2015

Our service was fantastic. The crew who helped us were super helpful, polite, and friendly. They cheerfully handled the stairs in both the old and new place and we were impressed with their speed and efficiency. We have used Big Al's for our last three moves, and will use them for all of our next moves, too. more

Great Job, Very Professional 4/8/2015

We had a heavy, very expensive piece of technical equipment we needed moved for our business. It could not be tilted or dropped and had to go up three sets of stairs. Big Al's did a fabulous job for us. They brought some serious muscle for this heavy piece of equipment and were able to get the move done expertly and efficiently. Perfect from the first phone call to the last hand shake. 4/1/2015

About a year ago Big Al's moved our piano. That experience was so perfect that I called again when it was time, last week, to move our entire household. Great Service!!! 2/4/2015

The movers we had originally scheduled (and who called to confirm), never showed up. We called Big Al's, at the recommendation from another business, for moving some delicate items. They did such a fantastic job we had them move the rest of the items in the house and shop. I wish we had known about them at the start of our moving process. It would have been much easier on my wife and me. They were fast, careful, friendly and showed up when they promised. They were also reasonably priced. I would recommend them to anyone. more

Moving a small baby grand piano----twice! 1/26/2015

Dear Beth and your wonderful crew, Thank you so much for such first rate service! You moved our small baby grand to Ashland from Oregon City in Oct of 2012 and everyone was absolutely wonderful. My piano arrived in perfect condition even after having been stored at your facility for almost 3 months. It was in such great condition, I have not had to have it tuned since, and that speaks volumes to me about the very careful conditions it was stored in and the extreme care it was given in bringing it into our new home. I called a week ago inquiring about moving the same piano about 2 feet further into the room and you responded immediately with a positive response. Your wonderful crew was here today and moved the piano to exactly the right spot in no time at all. I can't begin to thank you and all of Big Al's wonderful employees for taking the stress out of moving items such as our piano, but also for being such great people and so wonderful to do business with! All of you have my heartfelt thanks! And...I would love to meet you someday Beth, you are a real sweetheart! Thanks so much to all of you, you are all number one in my book!! The baby grand arrived in excellent condition, professionally packaged. Then they set up and positioned it for us with recommendations for care of the carpet. We are most pleased and thankful. Best movers in the business! 1/4/2015

We have had several experiences with Big Al's and all were wonderful! They are hard working, careful, cheerful and professional. In our most recent move, Ben and his team had to come up with creative ways to get our items in our new, smaller home. It all came together smoothly. I think other movers would've given up or damaged our belongings. They were great with my elderly parents, too! These guys you can trust with your Steinway or antique lamp. Thought we should write a review and let all those looking for movers know not to look any further. The excellent service and professionalism that Al's gives is UN- like most others. Not only are they proficient but knowledgeable too. They carefully move what is required with precision and care. Al's movers were aware of their surroundings as not to damage or leave any stress to the environment around them. They are remarkable, professional and funny! Outstanding 12/30/2014

This is the second time I've had Big Al's Specialty Movers transport the same piano, seven years apart. They were professional, courteous, displayed a sense of humor, and moved my almost-antique and beloved piano (the one I grew up playing over 60 years ago) with great care. I'd recommend them to anyone. My condo has split and narrow stairs (7 steps up, left turn, four steps, left turn and 3 more steps, then around the corner on the right into a small loft.) Three men moved it carefully and successfully when other piano movers didn't even want to take a look at my destination. I'd hire them again, and will recommend them to anyone who has special moving assistance needs. Thanks, guys. The office help was also very professional, friendly, and reassuring. They called to inform me of the approximate ETA, and were prompt. Feel like my 'baby' has come home to rest. more

The best move we have ever experienced. 12/12/2014

Having spent my career in the Army, we had become quite accustomed to the process of being moved. However the three, professional young men from Big Als broke the mold. They were timely, hard working and considerate of my time. They wrapped every piece of furniture before it left the pickup site and took care to place floor protection down while they worked. I will be recommending Big Als to everyone! more

The best, far and above anyone other movers! 11/24/2014

We are repeat customers and we are so grateful for these movers. They made a stressful day less stressful because of their great attitude and professionalism during our move. A few times during this move I was't quite sure where to put some larger pieces of furniture and they waited patiently while I figured it out. It was a joy to hear them laugh sometimes as they moved my home. It is obvious from the first phone call until the truck pulls away they take pride in their work. more

We just used them for the big heavy things(safe & piano), but as fast, friendly & efficient as they were, would definitely recommend them to move anything. Definitely a positive experience, would use them again. more
