These guys were so nice and helped me move a couch and piano with no effort at all. I plan on using them to move into my own place soon. Honest with their pricing and nice people. Highly recommend them. more

Exceeded Expectations - Job Well Done 10/22/2015

From start (initial contact) to finish (delivery complete) it was a first rate experience. They worked to meet our schedule for the delivery day, and then kept us informed of the delivery status (picked up piano from store, hit the road, estimated delivery window, confirmed delivery window, arrived on time, took care of our floors, set up and cleaned up. The only way you could tell they were there after they left was the piano in the location we requested. more

What a great experience!! 9/20/2015

What a nice surprise to have such professional movers! Ben, Dillon, George & Marquis couldn't have done a better job. They made a very stressful time extremely easy to accomplish. They were very professional, while at the same time coming across as personable. They moved us out of a 2 story 3 bedroom house, and into our new 3 story house within 8 hours, which left us enough time to get settled for the night. I would highly recommend hiring them for your move. Well worth the money!! more

Great job and entertaining too! 9/18/2015

Fred, John and Dillon were awesome! Not only did they do a great job, they were creative dealing with a difficult apartment configuration - it resembled a circus act. And...we got free singing, joking, and laughter the whole time too. These guys definitely are buddies (or family?), and they work together really well. They made good time, didn't screw around when on the clock, and were efficient. Some minor boo-boos on our cheap Ikea furniture were pointed out with full disclosure. It's cheap, it's gonna break after several moves. I have no complaints and would hire them again - but next time, let them do more and my husband and me less! more

My mother has used this moving company before and never have they failed her, so when mom and my husband and I had to move at the same time it was without question who we would choose. It is a good feeling to have a company you can trust, count on. more

Fabulous service 8/26/2015

Big Al's Movers were recommended to me from a friend so I thought I would try them. I was so very pleased from the initial phone call to the end result. The team showed up prepared and was very helpful with suggestions and assistance. My move was a little challenging since I had a little too much furniture to fit into my temporary storage unit and they pieced it together literally floor to ceiling to make it fit like a puzzle. I WILL be calling to ask the Big Al's team to come and help me with my final move into my new home. I look forward to it! more

I would recommend the company 8/24/2015

The three men were very polite and worked very hard. They were organized, efficient, and mostly I appreciate feeling comfortable with them. They also had fun while they worked, which made the experience more pleasant. Their fun did not interfere with work, but just allowed them to enjoy working hard with good company, if that makes sense. My only complaint is my large entertainment center has a chip in it on the side that is visible and the size of a dime. It is minor and there would be no easy way to repair it so I will touch it up at some point. I understand it happens when moving. I would recommend this company and would recommend those particular employees. Thank you, Laura Andersen more

They're the best! 6/19/2015

Second time I've used Big Al's. I had a Hammond B3 organ to move into the basement. I could have been a lot more prepared before they arrived. They were very patient and we didn't give up after many obstacles with narrow doors and tight curves. I know many movers would have said "can't help you" and would have left. Just be careful, these guys are strong! One of them lent me a hand getting up off the ground and and I thought my rotator cuff was gonna tear! ; ) more

Outstanding moving company!! 5/30/2015

We had a piano moved from Portland Oregon to the Central Coast in California. Not only was the price reasonable, the piano arrived on time and in pristine condition!! You could tell Big Al and crew take their moving responsibilities very seriously and they look out for their customers!! I would highly recommend Big Al's moving service to anyone that needs a mover!! I believe they are the best you'll ever find!! more

Big Al's moved us and I can't say enough good things about your company. I agree with all the other positive reviews. The 3 young men who moved us were very careful with our things, knew exactly what they were doing and worked very well as a team. Everything was moved a single mark on any thing.They all seemed so cheerful and happy to be in the moving business even though it is very hard work. I liked the 3 young men so much I actually hated to see them go! They were very polite, respectful and fun. I wish I could remember their names, I would definitely recommend Big Al's to others because they do an excellent job. Our move went very smoothly, and was completed in record time. Great service! 5/12/2015

Twice now I've called on Big Al's Specialty Moving to move my harpsichord, once into an upstairs bedroom, then to move the same instrument out of the bedroom, both times, around a bed, down a U shape stairway, over 2 railings, over a virginal, all without any nicks in walls or other mishaps, this time the move was worked into Big Al's already full schedule to accommodate the harpsichord servicer's transport vehicle, to be serviced & destined for far away places.
