Excellent Move 11/6/2012

Great experience. Moved a grand piano about 2 miles. Showed up right on time, did an excellent job of protecting the piano and getting it moved without any issues. Price was fair and the guys were friendly. Very pleased. more

Very pleased overall; got the piano moved in without a hitch. 11/5/2012

I moved from Vancouver, WA to the Seattle area and hired Big Al's to move my 6' grand piano. I had used them for a previous move and was happy to do business with them again. This time, my concern was that there might be difficulty fitting the piano in the elevator that went to my unit; however, the guys managed to wheel it in at an angle so that the elevator doors closed. They set it up in my apartment, positioned it, and put coasters underneath the legs. I would definitely recommend them: I was, after all, very pleasantly surprised to get a grand piano moved from Vancouver to Seattle for just $500. I did some price comparison, and this seemed an excellent deal. more

I can't say enough good about my moving experience with Big Al's. From the initial office contact through the delivery, the process was flawless. Communications were excellent and the move team was terrific - they were careful and professional yet very pleasant and upbeat to work with. We were so satisfied that we plan on enlisting their help with another move and will definitely recommend the company to others. more

Good Move 10/3/2012

Edward did an excellent job organizing the move under difficult circumstances due to inadequate parking in front of the Pacific Building in downtown Portland. James and Phi were hard workers, very courteous and stayed right on the job for the full term of the move. We had pre-boxed most everthing to be moved the day before, so it helped to have the small stuff in standard Banker's boxes. This job would have been a nightmare without that preparation. Nothing was broken, scratched or damaged. At the end of the job Edward, Phi and James offloaded what did not come to my new office to our garage, where it will go to various individuals, charities and the Clackamas County Courthouse. They will not be ready for the 600 volumes of Oregon Reports until the end of October, but I think I am paying for that move and we will call you again. Edward, Phi and James are good employees and diplomatic representatives of Big Al. Treat them right, Al, because they are your most valuable asset. more

Best decision I ever made 9/28/2012

Summary says it all. I hired Big Al's to move our belongings because I was to be out of town during move day. Turns out my trip was cut short and I got to experience their talent first hand. These guys work they're tails off. They had me busting up all day with they're humor and amazed me with their strength. I was quoted so many hours to get the job done and they did in less time and charged me less to boot. Don't shop around, just hire these guys. You'll be happy you did. Thanks Randy more

We hired Big Al's to unload a moving truck at our new home. They were on time and ready to unload when I drove up. They were friendly, patient, and listened well to where we wanted things placed in the house as the truck was being unloaded. They had the truck unloaded in no time at all, and were very careful with our belongings. more

Stand Out True Professionals 8/20/2012

I was working with 3 companies simultaneously for different aspects of a recent interstate move, and Big Al's moved a grand piano for me. This company provided the best experience BY FAR, and I wish they had been able to fit every aspect of the overall move into their schedule. It's no wonder they are so busy. From office contact through delivery, and even returning to reposition the piano in the room, everyone at Big Al's was prompt, courteous, and helpful. They are stand out true professionals. more

We heard of Big Al through others who have used their service. We prefer the "local feel" as opposed to the nationwide brands. The recommendation was good so we used their service for a local move. They did a good job handling all of our needs as ours was somewhat of a complicated move (items going in three different directions). I will recommend to a friend. more
