Editorial review from Citysearch 8/16/2012

I used to work here and I can assure you that the kitchen is immaculate, everything is made fresh, the cooks care about the food they serve, the service staff is very well trained and knowledgeable, the managers are awesome to work for and excellent at making the guests feel valued. The food is fantastic, even for finicky eaters, they will accommodate, they have a HUGE gluten free menu. I have all my major events in their beautiful space because I know the food and service will be exceptional. I even had my wedding reception here, cuz I knew I could rest assured everything would go well. Eat, love it! more

Great italian food, decent wine list 3/19/2010

The service there is quite nice and attentive, they come and make you the parmesan olive oil pepper concoction for your bread. Quite delicious. Pros: tasty food, good service Cons: can be pricy, long wait times more

Great service Great staff Great food 11/19/2009

The entire experience at Biaagis is wonderful. My wife and I have eaten there at least 20 times and never had a bad experience. Just booked a holiday lunch for several old freinds from around the state and everyone insists we return to Biaggis. It's a holiday tradion now! So, from Fergus Falls to Rochester, it's the place to go!! Pros: The entire experience more

Fantastic food and service. 3/6/2009

Every time I have come here (Maple Grove), the wait staff has always been very friendly and knowledgable. You always start out with the ""biaggi butter"" which is olive oil, parmesan and cracked black pepper to dip a variety of breads in. We always start out with the bruschetta, which is the best of all the italian restaurants we've been to (including in Italy) and end our meals with their fantastic desserts. Everything in between is fabulous! Pros: Atmosphere, wait staff, food and desserts. more

Great Spot, Great Food 1/12/2009

Yesterday was my first trip to Biaggi's and I truly enjoyed it! Sunday evening, so it wasn't extremely packed. We were greeted by about 7 greeters and taken to a cozy little booth right away. Our server came over right away and got us started by mixing their delicious herb infused olive oil with fresh cracked pepper and Parmesan cheese for dipping our bread. She seemed to rush through the specials of the day and completely lost me in the middle, I generally tend to forgive servers who have to say those lines so many times a day... especially since it was on paper right in front of us. Pros: great service, delicious food more

One of the worst Italian food 6/27/2008

Both me and my wife did not liked the food at Biaggi's. I wont recommend this to anyone. We tried 4 dishes and all had sweet taste...weird.....It was all chinese-Italian......I was schoked to taste that...... Pros: Ambience Cons: Food more

Favorite Restaurant in Maple Grove 2/6/2008

I've been there several times at lunch and have always had a wonderful meal. Pros: Food and service. Cons: I can't think of any. more

Our new favorite Restaurant! 1/18/2008

My husband and I are now calling this 'Our Italian Restaurant'. The service is wonderful, the food & wine are superb. I can't tell you how fresh everything tastes, you can't help but to savor every bite. Prices are so reasonable, it's hard to not want to come back often! : ) Pros: Excellent food, wine, ingredients & service Cons: Can get noisy; tables for two are a little cramped more

Never a bad meal! 6/19/2007

This is by far the best Italian restaurant I've ever been to- and it's cheap! The lamb is so good, I nearly want to order it every time. I really prefer the Maple Grove location to the Eden Prairie location since there were a lot of children at the EP location when I went there. Our servers in Maple Grove have always been very attentive. A great bottle of wine is as low as $30. If they have risotto, order it to go since you'll be full when you leave, but it's not to be missed! Pros: Lamb; carpaccio; wine; risotto Cons: the dessert canelloni isn't spectacular more

Great dinner spot!! 4/11/2007

Great food, wine, and atmosphere (even if it is attached to a mall). Lots of variety and our personal favorites are the Shrimp Oreganata and their fresh parmesan at the table to add to everything. Cons: Make reservations in advance, this place can get busy. more

Worked here since we opened. 12/12/2006

Hello. I have worked at Biaggi's since we have opened. I just stumbled into a review of my workplace, so I thought that I should offer a few tips on enjoying the restaurant itself. Pros: Great overall experience Cons: Can get a bit noisy more

My favorite 11/19/2006

One of my favorite restaurants. Reasonable prices that are similar to Olive Garden, but the food is of no comparison. Great service as well. Pros: Service, food, ambience, date spot Cons: Can get busy on a weekend night. Make reservations. more

Good food, nice atmosphere 10/23/2006

Classy Italian dining but still reasonably priced. Weekly specials offer something different, while the always offered Minestrone soup is always good. Fresh basket of variety of breads with oil and parmesan start the dinner off right. Spinach salad is delicious too. Good service usually - only slow on occasion. more

Excellent date night dining!!! 9/17/2006

Last Friday night, my husband and I were planning on a rare ""date"" night, and had decided on dinner (at Biaggi's) and a movie (at AMC - plans fell through as AMC advertised incorrect information). Well, we had made reservations for 8:00 p.m., and I had requested a table away from restrooms and the kitchen. We got there, and it was teeming with people, to which we were pleased and/or surprised (we'd never been there before). We still had to wait for the table and were able to get drinks at the somewhat crowded (but friendly) bar, but the hostess's manners were exemplary, and we were led to a charming table for two out of the way. My husband ordered the Chilean sea bass, which was very, very good, but I ordered the shrimp and loster-stuffed trigger fish, which was OUTSTANDING! Truly, the fine chefs at Biaggi's really know what they're doing with sea fare. They both came with perfectly al dente green beans and delicious ciabatta and whole grain breads (Devon's had yummy garlic-mashed potatoes too), a perfect compliment to my sparkling Modesto d'Asti wine, and to my husband's Sam Adams. Our server, Chris, was really attentive and professional, and we never felt rushed. For dessert, we shared an order of their Tiramisu (as they were out of the creme brulee for the evening, much to our chagrin), which was quite excellent as well. We had both dressed up (like I said, date night is rare), but one would be perfectly welcomed to wear a more casual attire, as well. But please, make sure you make reservations, and try to leave the kids at home with a sitter to enjoy this experience better - I promise you won't regret it! Pros: Excellent service and food! Cons: A slight wait, even with reservations. more

A find. 9/23/2005

I had given up on finding good Italian in Minneapolis, but now have changed my mind. Biaggi's has greeat food, service and ambience. I had the squash stuffed ravioli, and it was superb. My lunch mate had the lasagne and was highly impressed. Carrie, our wait person, was very attentive and friendly and also knew the menu items very well. Pros: food, Staff, parking more

Nice Digs for a Chain 3/20/2005

Albeit a relatively small chain restaraunt. Decent food. Service was so-so. You could tell it was a newer place. Pros: Decor Cons: Bread more
