Crooks! Stay away they arrived for a evaluation and upon completion of a look around estimated 400 dollar repair. When we denied service they demanded eval fee to make up for their trip 90 dollars. Eval fee never informed of or agreed upon but forced wife into paying in my absence. I don't mind paying what's due but this clearly an abuse. I was never informed of fees and the evaluation stated was ""No Cool"" I paid a professional 90 dollars to tell me no cool. more

NEVER use Beutler Heating & Air Company ! 5/2/2012

Beutler folks are clueless. We bought an expensive York Infinity HVAC and they were to install 2 units in our Victorian house built in 1890. They have no skill in dealing with an older structure and caused permanent damage to our plaster walls and ceilings. Pros: null Cons: null more

Above and Beyond Service 4/12/2012

I signed up for annual service for my new heater and air-conditioner. Little did I know that I would get more than a perfunctory inspection. Instead, Marcello Vaca went above and beyond, helping me with my "unreachable" (except by ladder) return air filter, and checking on such esoteric items such as gas pressure and electrical fittings. I certainly felt like I had royal service, and I don't regret a bit doing business with Beutler. Mr. Vaca was personable, and even helped me rescue a nosy kitty who might have gotten into the system. I certainly hope he will be my service person again next year. Pros: null Cons: null more

impressed by your technician 7/28/2011

Several weeks ago i found it necessary to have a representative from your company come to my home to conduct an inspection on our Beutler SMART FAN. Although I have been remiss in not writing sooner, it has remained important for me to do so because I was so thoroughly impressed by your technician, Mr. Neil Chapman who came to my home. Mr. Chapman spent quite a bit of time evaluating my equipment and explaining to me the principle behind the smart fan system which, none of the other property inspectors were able to do when I purchased the home in April 2011. I felt Mr. Chapman was very thorough and personable and because of him, I purchased a one year service warranty with your company. While I have to admit I don't fully understand how the SMART-VENT works, I am confident that when I have my system serviced in the next fall for the semi-annual inspection, your company will take care of the equipment properly. I just wanted you to know that from my perspective as a homeowner for many years, I have rarely run across someone like Mr.Chapman. He displays a high degree of professionalism and is most definitely a credit to your company. more

I am writing to you to let you know how much I appreciate the careful, and thorough manner in which Blaine Scholin dealt with me during his service call on April 28th. He was very helpful in describing to me how the system works and how too get the most cooling power form the system. He was able to rectify a few potential problems and his work and customer service skills are definitely a credit to your organization. In this day and age it is very refreshing to encounter someone who is technically competent, and who is also able to gauge the needs of the customer so that later when my wife returned I was able to say, "Wow, Blaine, the guy from Beutler was fantastic!" Having been the director of two Mental Health Centers, if I had a staff person who could inspire that kind of confidence I would seriously consider ways to raise his salary. more

On Saturday, July 2, one of our technicians, Leonard Perez, came to our home to check our AC unit which was not working. Not only did he find the problem and resolve it, but he was extremely personable and answered all of our questions. Leonard is a very nice gentleman, very knowledgeable and an asset to your company. We will request him whenever we need service from Beutler. more

Beutler faulty condenser coil in attic 6/22/2011

I bought a KB home in North Natomas 4 years ago. Last year our ac failed and it was just determined we have a leak in the condenser in the attic. We called Beulter and they have given us several different answers but the last answer was that they do NOT do that kind of repair work and it would be $10,000 for them to do it!!!! My neighbor had the same leak but his ac failed the first summer and it was under warranty and they replaced the condenser last week for him...it took beutler 3 years to find the leak!!!! more

patient and very personable 6/22/2011

I called on Friday to make an appoinment to have one of my thermostats looked at and they were able to get someone out the same date which was great as I had no heat upstairs. I would recommend using the technician, Marc Normington, he did a great job, did a thorough job of checking everthing, explained everything so I understood, was patient and very personable. I am now nice and warm again in my home. more
