Better Water Heaters

Better Water Heaters was very accommodating. I called last minute because of a leak and they sent someone over to help out right away. The leak had flooded the lower water heater and the bathroom on the other side of the wall. We had a challenge because the contractors Better Water Heaters sent couldn't do the work while I was rebuilding and waiting for things to dry, but they understood the importance of getting my hot water heater back up as soon as possible and were willing to do a temporary hookup. They came back later and finished the job. The people at Better Water Heaters were very attentive. They make sure to call right back and I have never had to leave a voice mail. Usually the owner himself picks up. When I needed to have someone help me, they always have someone out within a few hours. more

My installation took place just hours ago but I was very impressed. We have not had a real chance, yet, to test out the water heater but it is great to have water service again. Better Water Heaters responded quickly to my water emergency and sent the right man out for the job. My first contact was with Franz (owner). Franz was very friendly, very knowledgeable and made excellent recommendations after some fact gathering. Johnny (installer) was on the job quickly - within 1 1/2 hours from the time I spoke with Franz. Johnny called 15 mins before his arrival to let me know he was on the way. He came prepared. He had the right water heater and all the tools necessary to get the job done. He was efficient, quick and accurate. Johnny reviewed the situation, examined the disabled water heater, made his recommendation, quoted the job and stepped back. No pressure to continue if I didn't want to but I had experienced enough positives to know that I wanted to continue. Johnny removed the old water heater, installed the new water heater, cleaned up after himself, showed what had been done and presented the bill. The bill matched the estimate exactly. I am impressed and highly recommend Better Water Heaters. Am now ready to try out the new water heater. Thanks Franz & Johnny!! more

I didn't do much research beforehand. I just bought a water heater and they came to install it. Since then, the worker has had to fix it 3 or 4 times. The first couple times, he just came to mess with the water heater's settings. Recently, they just brought and installed a totally new heater. Also, they pointed fingers at me saying that I had to pay to change the crossover with a plumber, but that didn't even fix the problem. more

For about the last month and a half Better Water Heaters has replaced hot water tanks in our home. The tanks have been over 100 gallons in size. After the first time they came a drip pan was compromised and they had to return to replace it. The second time they returned they replaced a hot water tank and everything has been fine with the tank. All of their work was done correctly. We are pleased with their service. more

Better Water Heaters was great to work with. A lot more work was needed than we originally thought. And they explained everything they were doing. My house is old, and it wasn't maintained well. There were a lot of old connections, links to the gas hoses and they moved all those and fitted the pipes correctly. They really did a lot. It looks new again. I'd definitely use them in the future. more

Better Water Heaters was excellent. The cost was around the middle, but for what you get and the service they provide they were great. At one point, I had to have them stop so I could bring in the drywall guy, but as soon as I was ready they were able to come back and complete the job. They were great. more

Better Water Heaters did a last minute water heater deal for me. My water heater was old and leaking, so I called them up and they sent someone out on a Sunday, and that guy was absolutely fantastic! If could rate him, I would rate him a 5 plus plus! He was just absolutely awesome. So far, everything seems well with the water heater, though it's too early to really tell. It was a little more expensive than I would have liked too, but I was happy overall. more

One weekend recently, my hot water heater stopped working properly. On Monday, I began looking for a solution using the internet. I sent several emails and placed several phone calls. Better Water Heaters answered my call right away, and were able to come to my home very quickly to look into the issue. After their assessment, they were able to propose a solution and being the installation right away. They put in a brand new hot water heater for me, and were able to complete the installation in a short amount of time. They used a few new pipes, as well as some of the existing ones. That evening I noticed a few small leaks in the pipes. The next day I called to notify them of the problem, and they came right out to fix it. Now there are no problems, and everything is working as expected. I will contact them again for any plumbing issues I have in the future. more

I decided to use Better Water Heaters because of the price and the fact that their brand is a good, well-known brand. I initially talked to a guy there who gave me a printed estimate. Then, when they got here, it was a little more but still in the range of what I was expecting to pay. Everything turned out fine and the technician did a better job than original installation that was done by a handyman 6 years ago. The water heater is more secure now. Also, it used to be that the water temperature in the back bedroom never seemed to get hot enough and now it does. Better Water Heaters has a competitive price. I talked to several companies that were significantly more expensive. I had thought about doing the job myself but their installer had all the tools that made the job so much easier, so I am glad I used them. more
