I decided to use Better Water Heaters because of the price and the fact that their brand is a good, well-known brand. I initially talked to a guy there who gave me a printed estimate. Then, when they got here, it was a little more but still in the range of what I was expecting to pay.
Everything turned out fine and the technician did a better job than original installation that was done by a handyman 6 years ago. The water heater is more secure now. Also, it used to be that the water temperature in the back bedroom never seemed to get hot enough and now it does.
Better Water Heaters has a competitive price. I talked to several companies that were significantly more expensive. I had thought about doing the job myself but their installer had all the tools that made the job so much easier, so I am glad I used them.
