Well, I can't wait to read the rebuttle for this one. I purchased a Groupon for services. My first visit, Lynne, the CEO complained constantly about the problems in doing business with Groupon. Her bedside manner is great and by golly she is a great conversationalist. But I should have taken heed to her complaining. I got the feeling that she was not giving her all to the Groupon purchasers. I have had laser treatment at different locations and the MedSpa experience was unique. I never felt the ""pinch"" that usually comes with laser hair removal. All I ever felt was SUPER COLD GEL! I am so mad at myself for ignoring the obvious signs that I was not receiving the treatments that I paid for. I could'nt help but wonder how Lynne was able to purchase that beautiful new BMW since Groupon was causing her such financial grief. (ok, I know that comment is irrelevant and unnecessary but anyway.....)Needless to say, the ineffective treatments only led me to find another vendor who has provided excellent services. I have never written an online review but I felt it necessary to share my experience. FYI, the Spa at Stonecrest in Lithonia, GA is great! Currently they don't have any Groupon specials but the prices are so reasonable that a coupon is not needed. No, I don't have any vested interest in this company, I just like for people to get want they pay for. #nolongerasilentsucker more

I worked for this business 10 years ago and loved it so much, I came back to work 6 months ago to assist with recovery after a terrible experience with a ""buy traffic"" discounted group-coupon. The discounted company accidentally oversold their 2nd contract with Bella Derma by 400+ clients and nearly put this business under, as it has many others. Unfortunately, the customer service suffered during 2012 with one nurse trying to accommodate 6 appointments times for each of the 500 new clients (plus service the regular clients). The owner appreciates each and every client...group-coupon, or not. I will say she went above and beyond what any other business owner would have done....working over 80 hours a week to follow through with the services that were discounted below the cost of operation. It is unfortunate that the contractual issues between the corporations reflected on Bella Derma, rather than the source that caused the problem.\r In defense of the one bad review about the office staff member, I have spoken with that staff member and it was noted that this client was over an hour late and she was unable to be worked in that day after being caught in bad traffic. If we had worked her in, it would have caused all other appointments for the remainder of the day to run late, upsetting all the clients who WERE on time. She did not call to let the office know she would be late, otherwise they would have told her she needed to reschedule. I think most people can appreciate these rules and understand them. \r We hope to see you at Bella Derma in the near future! This year has been great and the customer service is better than ever! more

I recommend this business for anyone on a budget. It is not the fancy medspa one would expect but a very small, one person business. The lady that runs it worked around my wife's work schedule to make sure she could get in for her services. I especially like this place because it didn't break my wallet AND its close to home. more

I recently had a terrible experience at this office due to a very rude employee. About a month ago, when making the hour drive to my appointment, I hit unsuspected traffic on interstate 400 causing me to be 20 minutes late. Already terribly embarrassed from my tardiness, I walked into the office building. After explaining the situation to the older lady at the front desk, she began to scold me and had an attitude. I was astonished at the way she was talking to me, even after my responses to her cheekiness were humble and apologetic. She then refused to work me into their schedule, and forced me to leave. I therefore left feeling like I had been slapped in the face, extremely overwhelmed, and disheartened from the appalling service. If I hadn?t pre-paid for my services, including an extra $200 for insurance, I would have never wanted to step foot in this business again, but unfortunately, that was not the case. It was imperative, to the procedures? effectiveness, that my appointments be every 3-5 weeks, so I had to reschedule as soon as possible. The next day I emailed the office requesting another appointment and got no response. I waited about a week, due to the Labor Day weekend, and emailed them a second time. Three days later, still no response. I then started to suspect the secretary was intentionally ignoring my emails. The next day, I emailed this business from my work email, which shows no sign of my name, and got a prompt response, inviting me as a new customer, the next morning. I then replied to their response stating my name and that I needed to make an appointment as an existing customer. No response. Let me just clarify that all of my emails to them by this point were generic and had no sign of irritancy. I have called this business around 10 times, during their business hours, since then, and no one has picked up. I emailed them asking to quit ignoring me and got no response. I emailed the owner's personal email asking her to send me a copy of my contract, no response. I have called and left 5 voicemails during their office hours, and have continued to get no responses to anything. It amazes me mind that a small business can be so negligent to their customers, especially ones that were recently treated with the worst customer service. more

Very Good Services! 3/30/2011

This was a Medspa I came across through a billboard. I called and made an appointment for a complimentary consultation and got in within a week. The staff was very courteous and professional. They have all new equipment and the lady that does the services know what she is doing! The prices are very good as well. The only negative thing was the directions given to me. I got the address from the office, but the GPS took me somewhere totally different. Other than that, I would recommend this to anyone looking for medspa services on a budget. more
