My husband and l where looking for a 5th wheel we where on vacation and stopped at a display of trailers set up by Toppers we fell in love with the trailer and purchased it. We received a line of crap....\r 1. That the trailer would be cleaned after the show, if that's clean I would hate to see dirty.\r 2. When the trailer arrived the front of trailer had been hit had a black marks and scratches. We where told to bad scratches happen....\r 3. The trailer had a mounted outside TV well it was not locked into place before being moved and rubbed a hole in the screen.. They say that they want use to purchase one and they will refund our money... But somehow I feel that the check might get lost in the mail...\r 4. When calling to talk with the sales man we here that he will have to get back to us... Hmm not happened yet....\r \r Beware of this dealer that got our money and they don't stand behind nothing.. Three generations of CROOKS!!!!!! If you ask me.....\r more

Took my camper there after having issues with another dealership in Houston. \r \r Spoke with Isreal who was super nice and told me to wait for Rene. Now that is where the issue is. \r \r Rene is arrogant, rude, unhelpful, callus, and honestly the ONE reason I would never send anyone to purchase their camper there. \r \r He told me ""we don't work on your style of camper."" I pushed back saying that Dutchmen actually recommended we see you and he said ""well you know what, maybe so, but we only service what we sell, so...."" ""We're so busy we only work on the ones we sell"" then he stopped looking near me and started to look busy for me to leave. Rude as hell. \r \r The world of camping goes by referrals and this one person who was rude will make me forever not recommend someone spending a ton on money on a camper from them. \r \r Oh and you should know, I was going to trade in my camper today too. It appears you lost out on business. Thank your rude service guy Rene for that. more

Don't order the kids meal. Honestly I rarely go to El Matador, but since I was there last a lot has changed. My 35 pound 4 year old ate his entire kids meal and then asked for more food because he was still hungry. The 1/4 cup of rice and mini tortilla with cheese for $6 is absolutely ridiculous! My meal was considerably smaller as well. I won't be going back any time soon. more

great food awesome prices vey family friendly, I figure out a trick on parking! Park in key bank parking lot when el matador parking lot is full. I defiantly recommend this place more

I go to el matador for lunch quite a bit, food is excellent the best part is the warm salsa all the species just tingle in your mouth. El Matador is sure the best trex-mex place in Utah! more

Worst Restaurant Ever 5/6/2012

I've been to many restaurants in my life time, but going to this restaurant was one of the worst experiences of my life.The cashiers and hostess were very rude. Especially this one. I believe his name is Andrew. He looks like a cockroach and has a massive nose and terrible acne. I did not know that they were allowed to hire 14 year old. then he took us too our table, eye balling my wife's breasts and with an obviously fake smile he said enjoy the food. Just when I thought the worst part was over, our waitress came out. Let me tell you she was a real bitch. I guess I would be too if I worked in a shitty Mexican restaurant. . Long story shot. El Matador sucks a high and hard one. Never go there. EVER. more

Don't waste your time or money 3/24/2012

We went there 12 years ago at the recommendation of a neighbor when we moved here. We were not impressed then. \r Last night we again because of a comment from another friend. The service was very good but the foood was mediocre at best. Rice and beans were overcooked and very dry. Chimichanga was overcooked, tough, and had very little meat. Same generic tomato sauce dumped over things. We won't bother to go back again. There are much more authentic Mexican restaurants around the serve delicious food like Javier's, or Mara's or Patricia's in Ogden. more

Changed a lot 2/20/2012

My boyfriend remembers going to this restaurant as a child, so we went for lunch...and apparently things have changed a lot. I got a smothered burrito, and it was tasteless. The rice was overcooked. The salsa tasted like spaghetti sauce, and it was served WARM. Gross.Not to mention overpriced. It stays in business because it is popular with the locals......it's mexican food for great white northerners. Particularly the older folk who cant handle ANY spices. Our waitress was very nice and the manager was sure to come check on us as well, so my complaint is solely with the food. Go to Lorenas in Woods Cross if you want good Mexican food as well as good service. They are amazing. Will not be back here. more

Excellent Service! 12/27/2011

I purchased an RV from Bruce at Topper's Camping Center and have never recieved better customer service. After reading the other review I felt the need to share my own experience, the employees were very helpful and informative. Bruce answered any questions I had and showed me the large array of RVs they had in stock. As a child I spent a lot of time outdoors with my parents, camping and traveling on long road trips, so when I grew up and got out on my own I followed in their footsteps and spend a large amount of my free time camping and traveleing all around Texas with my family. I have purchased multiple RVs from Topper's and have always been completely satisfied! Thank you so much for all the help and assistance in choosing my campers and RV, and thank you to Bruce for answering all my questions. Very professional and helpful staff, no pressure to buy. Make sure to ask for Bruce if you buy from here! more

Good enough food, better service. 10/12/2011

I go to El Matador for lunch quite a bit. \r \r The food is good. The warm salsa is a nice change of pace and I get it with cheese. Yumm.. I like the enchiladas. \r \r I now ask for Sandra because she is nice and fast with the service. Most important to me is that she kept my table clear. Good service is always a plus when you go out to eat. \r \r I think El Matador is worth the trip for sure!! more

Service getting worse and worse.... Won't be going back! 8/22/2011

Took car in for XPRESS oil change and free car wash. Car got washed and sat for 40 minutes until I REMINDED them to change the oil. I was told it was done and went out to find it still up on ramps in the bay... I was there for a total fo 1 hour and 40 minutes. It was hot and now so is my temper! The was job was only so/so, so fresh scent, still dust on dash and a napkin on door handle that wasn't there when I started... more

My favorite 3/28/2011

This is my absolute favorite restaurant. I'm there about once a week. I've been to India, where I fell in love with Indian food, and many Indian restaurants here in town. There is no comparison. Everyone I have brought here loves it...from the newbies to Indian food lovers. All agree the food is delicious, and that this is a hidden gem. Even my very fussy elderly Mom loved the tender chicken. Service is friendly and warm. And the samosas are the best I've ever had. I am quite curious about the negative reviews because I have never had a bad experience, nor heard anyone complain. And I am there alot. :) more
