El Patron Mexican Restaurant serves up the best Mexican food in Anderson. El Patron puts their patrons first as evidenced by the great service you receive from the moment you enter the front door. The waiters and waitresses always make sure that you receive your food promptly and that your drink is always full. Best Mexican food in Utah 3/18/2006

El Matador has opened their new resturant in bountiful located on main st. now it is a huge upgrade from there old resturant. It looks fantastic and you can know see your food(there other resturant was very dark inside) I agree with the others about the chips and salsa, we always buy more to go,I love their beef enchildas and they know offer a kids meal with chicken tenders for my kids that dont appreciate anything but the chips and salsa also if you hit them at the right time they have homemade french fries YUMMMY more

This place serves great indian food all the time. I highly recommend their lamb curry and tandoori chicken. They have won best indian restaurant several times. The decor is nice and the staff is friendly. They cater large parties also. more

SPICY HOT CURRIES 1/16/2006

This is the place with great Indian food and beers. I loved indian beer.They make very good curries.The breads are excellent with their sweet but spicy dipping sauces. Along with cheap appetizers that are excellent.. Diffinitely a place to check out. more

LOVE this place 12/27/2005

Everytime i am at Howiee's i have an awesome time even if my friends & i are just sitting there having a few drinks. I haven't ever had a "dull" time at Howiee's. The drinks are great, prices & employees are too. I like what they have done with the remodel too. I like the fact that they have satelite radio, you always hear a mixture of music not the same stuff you would hear in a dance club. They have pool, and slot machines. You can also order food, i never have so i can't vouch for that. more

Awful grocery store - skip this one! 10/20/2005

With Shop N Save and Schnucks down the road, I see no reason to ever stop at Market Basket. We made that mistake once because we saw the Boar's Head logo and assumed it would be a quality store. The produce was awful - literally moldy and shriveled brown lettuce was abound. The entire store smells awful, and the aisles of farm animal foods and products certainly don't help. more

Another hidden treasure 8/20/2005

My wife introduced me to El Matador a few years back. They really have great food, and the pricing is fantastic. It's hidden back off the main road in Bountiful, so it's a bit tough to find, but the food is incredible. The salsa is amazing, and their chicken burritos are the best. They're going to be moving the business to main street in Bountiful, as this part of town is going to be a new, big shopping complex. more

Really great Mexican food! 8/3/2005

El Matador has excellent food and drink. You get chips and salsa with every order (make sure to order cheese for the salsa yum!). They have non-alcoholic and alcoholic daiquiris and margaritas which are really good. The portions are large if you’re ordering a platter, but you can order smaller sized items off the menu as well. It’s usually busy from lunch to dinner but the wait is short and they’re really fast. They’re family friendly with highchairs and boosters. They’re closed until October when they re-open in a different location, but well worth the wait! more
