This is literally one of the worst customer-service experiences in the world. The staff is churlish and the lines take forever, even when they're short. Like any other Barnes and Noble, there are plenty of books, its just that the staff is deeply uncommitted to customer service of any kind. That's not just my opinion -- the store has a bad reputation throughout the Antelope Valley. I am not kidding on this -- the staff literally don't acknowledge your existence, even when they're taking your money. I've sat in the coffee house and heard the staff behind the register complaining about their jobs, complaining about customers, talking about sex (yes, talking about sex using the kinds of words you normally hear when people talk about sex). If there were five stars for "pathologically unfriendly," then this store deserves five stars.
