Excellent job! 9/19/2016

We found B & G Hardwood Flooring after searching on the internet for a company that could refinish hardwood floors. We bought a house and pulled up the carpeting and underneath was the hardwood floors, which were really in terrible condition. So we set out to find someone to help up with that. The people at B & G were very nice and friendly and they were really helpful. Their installation crew came to the house and went to work. The floors look wonderful. They did a fantastic job. We will definitely use them again in the future. more

George was a delight to work with from B & G Hardwood Flooring. A friend told me about the company and I'm happy I went with their recommendation. George recommended a product that was perfect for our requirement. We had new hard wood floors installed and we are extremely satisfied with the results. They're also very accommodating - I had to reschedule several times and when it was time to do the service, George did it over the weekend. I am pleased about the quality and how neat they were during and after the process. Prices are competitive. more

Great work, very happy. 5/17/2016

B & G Hardwood Flooring just did this yesterday but they put in a new floor, which was about 350 square feet of material. Their attention to detail was incredible, he suggested a few things to us and the floor itself came out gorgeous. They showed up early, which was great and the entire staff was very polite and kind. They also seemed very organized, from their truck to how they went about the work. I would definitely recommend them. more

I had B&G install near 650 SF of hardwood flooring in my home including four bedrooms hallways, closets and pantry. George did a free on-site preview survey of my home and in a timely manner presented a written detailed estimate of cost with warranty up-front. George was aways available to patiently answer in detail any questions or concerns I had. The work was done on schedule, quickly, efficiently, to a high quality standard by a competent friendly work crew who would patiently listen to and answer my inquires or suggestions. I highly recommend consideration of B&G Flooring for high quality installation of hardwood flooring by someone with many years of experience. more

High-quality wood floors installed perfectly 1/5/2016

B&G Hardwood Flooring installed narrow-plank hardwood cedar floors in the hallway, living room, family room and two bedrooms. In the main living room George did a nice 1950s-style border, so it sort of looks like an area rug but it's wood. George is very experienced. He was very helpful in the decision-making process, providing options and guiding us on wood choices, styles, and an environmentally friendly protective seal we chose. It was our first time using them. We would use them again for the quality, craftsmanship and precision, and cleanliness. They also offer a reasonable payment schedule, and the price was right. Worn out floor now looks BRAND NEW! 9/13/2015

Wow! I thought I would have to buy new hardwood floor for my heavily scratched, worn and blacken oak hard wood floor. George told me it was not necessary, that doing refinish would be a good choice. So, I chose that, only took four days, mainly mornings and my foray and kitchen floors looks absolutely stunning, brand new, and it was virtually mess free! The charges were very reasonable. Scheduling and communication was a little challenging as I think George does all the booking and scheduling himself. Be sure to read and sign the contract and along with deposit check, send them off as soon as possible to secure your agreed upon dates for services. Phone communication is best with George to confirm matters though he will follow up with emails. more

Great Product, Slightly Spacey Management. 8/18/2015

I would like to start off by saying that I highly recommend B & G Hardwood Flooring. Their installers are great, the owner is great, and they do quality work. The only hiccups I ran into had to do with their organization. They were late getting back to me about simple questions, such as "When are you coming?" That led to slightly odd situations, such as them showing up at the job site at 8:15 when they were supposed to arrive at 10:00. Another time I got a call asking about when I was planning on paying my balance. I replied quite frankly that I would once the job was finished (as we had agreed earlier). I sincerely believe that it simply slipped their mind. To make a long story short, the guys are a little bit flaky on the organization front, but they provide quality craftsmanship and will get the job done correctly on the first try. I highly recommend them. more

Professional and fast 7/20/2015

I was very happy about B & G Hardwood Flooring. They were here when they said they would be here and they got into the job immediately. They listened to what I wanted done and they got it done very fast. The installers were every respectful and helpful. I was very very happy with their work. I think they are overpriced because I supplied the materials and they charged me just for the installation. He quoted me the price when I texted him a picture. Once the guys were here, they could have given me a lower price because the job was not that big. I wouldn't recommend them for price, but I would recommend them for efficiency. more

Beautiful job for a reasonable price! 3/5/2015

B & G Hardwood Flooring did a beautiful job refinishing three bedrooms and the kitchen entry of my house. They also replaced some of the wood in one of the bedrooms and you can't tell where the old and new floor start. My house is probably fifty years old, and I don't know when the floors were last done, but now they look perfect. The crew was pleasant, nice and informative. I had called another company before and didn't have any openings, but this hardwood company was prompt. I'm very happy with the timing. Everyone says the floors look beautiful! more

We've used B and G Hardwood Flooring more than once. Actually, we've used them a total of three different times. They did a great job all three times. Whenever there's an issue, they always come right away and take care of the problem promptly. They have installed hardwood floors and also refinished them. more

Friendly quality 3/28/2014

We initially got in touch with B & G Hardwood Flooring when we were looking at hardwood flooring from a major vendor that uses them as a contractor and we discovered that there were issues with our floor that would cause the warranty on the hardwood flooring void. So we decided against the flooring but wound up getting the fir flooring we had resurfaced by one of George's crew following a consultation. Terrific customer service. They had a two-person crew that were extremely careful with what they did. They came in with these big machines and the room they were in was recently remodeled as well as the kitchen so they brought in cardboard to ensure they wouldn't damage anything. They were very clear about being back tomorrow at this time and the guys were very friendly. I was very impressed by their service and the quality of work was terrific. When we bring people to into the house, we have them look at the beautiful shiny flooring we have now and then look into the next room, to see what it used to look like. Honest and trustworthy to their word 1/14/2014

B & G Hardwood Flooring are very quick which is nice. You don't have to wait to get an appointment--rather than two or three weeks, he comes out in one or two days. I had my floors done by them first twenty years ago and then called them back again recently. more

We had an excellent experience with B&G Flooring, blending old oak flooring with new, both upstairs and downstairs. Then we added the stairs and staircase, stripped the old wood flooring and re-stained. Results were better than I could have hoped for. Good pricing too. more

Professional installation. A pleasure to work with. 12/12/2013

B & G Hardwood Flooring removed carpet and linoleum and installed hardwood flooring that I had purchased. The two installers, Caesar and Eduardo, were professional in their demeanor and their skill. The installation took about four and a half days. They took care of every detail. After removing all of the old flooring, they cleaned up and disposed of everything.
