We had the grout service request. They did not even clean the grout. I am very dis-satisfied with the service and will contact BBB and lodge a company about this fraud company. Please do not do business with this company, there are con artists. more

I had Steam It come out recently to clean my carpet and tile. I found that the techs were very professional and courteous. They came in and got the job done. No messing around. It was the best quality work I've seen and they were fast!!! Very impressed!!! Pros: On time, professional, good quality work and fast more

I just had steam it come out to my house and do my carpets as well as my tile. And both of them came looking alot better! The next day i found one little closet of tile that they missed and called them to come back out to touch up the spot and mike sent that same technician out to my house the next day. GREAT customer service and very professinal. Defintly will use steam it from now on!!! more

Used a groupon for this company for carpet cleaning and added on tile / grout cleaning for our residence. Needless to say, we were not impressed with the ""clean"" provided on the tile and mildly impressed with the carpet. There was a definite mildew smell in our house for days after the cleaning even though we had fans going and windows open. We were also overcharged for the tile cleaning service, and when this was brought up we were assured we would receive a credit back via check. No refund check has arrived and it's been a few weeks now. There were still noticeable dirty grout lines which we brought up with the crew before they left, but we were told ""the grout's just wet which is why it looks so dark"". Well... as we suspected it wasn't just ""wet"". They are still dirty. As a small business owner myself, I am appalled at the way they have handled the issues, even claiming that we made the grout all dirty in the few days that it took for them to come back out and assess the problem. more

ZERO STARS! What a joke. This company will be out of business soon! Wish I would have read previous Yelp-ers & saved ouselves the trouble. Raul showed up to our home on Monday July 2 & cleaned our tile floors in the kitchen & Master bath. I took before & after pictures....Surprise...they look no different! That is not the worst of it though. 6 hours after Steam It left, I went to the car & shockingly found our hose still pulled out in the front yard with the water still running! Argh! Of course it was after business hours, so I calmed down & called them 1st thing Tuesday am after reporting the problem to the City Of Austin. The owner stated, ""Wow this has never happened before! He stated, ""Raul is one of our best, so I will have to get his side of the story."" Later I had a voicemail from Raul stating that he is certain he turned off the water before coming in with the paperwork... No you ACTUALLY did not. You did manage to tie the hose in a knot, but left it pulled into the yard, did not put it away, and you left it running full blast for 6 hours! more

I had a gentleman by the name of Marcus come out to my house today to clean both the tile and carpet. It looks amazing!! He was very professional and informed me what would be the best option for the result I was wanting. I would recommend him and Steam It to anyone in need! more

I absolutely love this company! I have used a ton of different carpet cleaners in Austin. But this company is a cut above the rest. They are professional, informative, on time and friendly. I have recommended this company to all my friends, family and neighbors. Definitely a company to have on speed dial. 2 thumbs up!! more

We had the LivingSocial deal back in March '11, and ... were retroactively not impressed. The person was on time, our houseguest tells us, and he was friendly, she reports that he seemed to work diligently, but he said that most of the stains in our carpet ""are never coming out."" Okay, we though. We're just hosed on that, then, I guess. Then a friend of mine, hearing this, said ""Go to HEB, get a bottle of Folex, use it. Guaranteed they'll come out."" She has 3 kids, husband, brother, and 2 dogs - I figured it was worth a try. I don't know why the individual told us those stains wouldn't come out - about 1/2 an hour and the Folex and my carpet had no major stains. We put some in her home steam cleaner and the carpet looks great. I have to recommend against a business that was factually incorrect, regardless of the reason :/ more

Josh from Austin Steam it showed up today on time and did a fantastic job. 4 kids in the house and builder grade carpet takes a huge beating! This is the best steam clean we have ever had, I was amazed at how clean the carpets are now! Definitely Recommend these folks! Worth every penny! more

Josh and Marcus are the super carpet cleaning team of the year! This is my third time using STEAM IT, and this has been my best experience yet. They were on time, professional, had excellent personalities, efficient, and very thorough. As a long time austinite, I purposely chose to use local businesses and I love to see when one is getting it right. I will use them again and recommend them to anyone who asks. more

When I saw the amazing job that Austin Steam It did for my son, I called them asap. Josh was here today and did an excellent job. He was able to get clean spots that I had been told would not come out. He was so professional and finished very quickly. We have had Austin Steam here before and will use no one else. Eric sealed our grout on our Ceramic tile floor one year ago and it continues to look brand new. He has also steam cleaned our carpet in our 4 bedrooms before and has always done excellent. Today Eric came out and steam cleaned our carpets again as I would only call this company. As always, I requested Eric and once again Eric did not let us down. Our carpet that is 10 1/2 years old looks so clean and new. more

I had Steam it come out to my apt. to clean my carpets yesterday. Awhile back I bought the Living Social coupon. Steam It came out on time and were very clean cut and very respectful. After they finished the carpets looked amazing!! Thanks so much Steam It !!!! more

We did a Living Social deal with Steamit and they really did a HORRIBLE job. They spent all of 30 minutes cleaning the entire house and as expected with that level of effort the before and after is almost identical. The job is bad enough that we are hiring another company to come in and redo everything. more

I just had my carpets cleaned for a second time by Austin Steam It. My first experience was great, excellent service with great results. I thought for sure that I had gotten ""lucky"" with the great customer service. Well, today they proved me wrong! Not only did I receive the same great results with my carpet, my technician Justin, was so polite and helpful! He was efficient, focused, and did it all with a smile!!! I never felt once, he was just trying to get the job done, to move to the next one. I am so pleasantly surprised by the deliberate choice the owner has made to hire quality people. A practice that is unfortunately rare these days. Thank You!! more

Just moved into a new place with hardwood floors. The hardwood floors really needed some work.They were dull looking and really dirty. I've used Steam It once before. Had them come out and clean my hardwood. They look brand new now!! Amazing difference! Would recommend them to anyone. more

Steam It came out to steam clean our tile and grout floors. They were on time, and measured the floors to a little under 1250 sq ft. A big job according to the guy. That was about $465. Once I gave them the ok. They helped move the furniture and brought in some chemical to help remove stains and clean the floors and sprayed it all over until the floors were soaked. Then they brought in a round machine which basically all it did was soak up the soap they just put on the floor, NO STEAM that I saw. And to me its an expensive mopping that may have cleaned the floors but definetly didnt remove ANY stains from our grout. It looked the same. When we mentioned this to him he then said he would explain it ( the stains) at the end and that it needed time to dry to show the full effects. Meanwhile he decided to show us how they can make the stains ""disappear"" by putting on a color/sealer on our floor. BEWARE! DO NOT LET THEM DO THIS! They COLORED our grout a completely different color in the middle of our floor, and then told us it was a color sealer and when we asked ""how much is it?"" he stated it would be a little under $1000!! When we told him no, they did nothing to remove that color sealer they just put on my floor! I will tell you this, the color sealer they put down is the same color sealer they sell at home depot for $11.98 a bottle and 2 bottles were enough for us to break our backs ourselves and do all of the floors for less than $26! This company is a rip off and you need to beware of them. more

When I called Steam It, I explained that I did not want another company who hurries through the cleaning process and then tells me that the spots on my carpet cannot be removed. The companies I have used so far have all concerned themselves about the amount of time needed to clean my cream colored carpet. I have offered to pay more, etc. in order to receive quality work. more
