We have recently placed our home on the market. When we purchased our current home in Round Rock, the tile throughout the home had not been sealed. After 3 years of living in our home (with 2 beagles), our tile needed cleaning. I honestly did not think it would look like brand new, but it does--AFTER STEAMIT CAME OUT AND CLEANED/SEALED THE TILE/GROUT. They were very prompt, courteous, professional and just seemed to go above and beyond the call of duty. When using a company for the first time. I always like to put them to the test. Especially if I plan to use them for a while. So when Steam It came out to clean my carpet. I was a complete a-hole to them. I wanted to see how long it would take for them to throw up their arms in defeat. It usually only takes about 30 minutes for most carpet cleaners to give up. But Steam It surprisingly never gave up. The owner even continued to contact me until he knew I was completely happy. Now in a world where good customer service is hard to come by. I would have to say Steam It is a cut above the rest. I plan to continue to use Steam It in the future. But I promise to be much nicer. I've been using Steam It for a year now. This is the first time that I've written a review. But I felt it was long overdue. I've always gotten excellent service from Steam It. My husband and I were looking to replace our tile recently. We had some neighbors invite us over for dinner and their tile looked brand new. After asked who they used to replace their tile. I was told that they didn't replace their tile. They had Steam It come out to clean and colorseal their floor. I really couldn't believe that it wasn't brand new tile and grout. So we decide to call Steam It and have our floor colorsealed. Amazing is the only words that come to mind when I talk about my tile now. With all this flu and swine flu going around. I've been feeling the need to santize my home. That's when I saw this Steam It ad that said their cleanings get rid of 99.9% of all germs and bacteria. So I thought I'd give them a try. I had them santize my air ducts and carpet. There's no really way for me to tell if 99.9% of all my germs and bacteria were gone. But I can tell you that my house has never felt or looked cleaner. And I can tell a huge difference in our air quality too. The techs were like machines! Efficient and fast! I have 2 dogs that live inside and shed like crazy. I really didn't think that Steam It was going to be able to get all that hair out of my carpet. But man when they were done. When getting ready to put our house on the market, our realtor told us that we needed to replace our carpet and tile. It was what we would have to do if we wanted our house to sell. Being a single woman in this day and age you have to be careful who you let in your home. Especially when it comes to people doing work in your home. So when I called Steam It to come out an clean my carpet. I didn't know what to expect. But Steam It's technicians were clean-cut, professional, courteous, and made me feel very comfortable to have them in my home. And they also did a great job on my carpet. I just bought a house, and Steam It was one of the first groups that I had come out. If you saw the way the previous owner lived, you'd have probably done the same thing though... Anyway: I got all of the carpet steam cleaned, got the furnace cleaned out and then covered (blown insulation in the attic was being sucked in like mad), and got all of the tile stained and sealed. Honestly, I expected to spend somewhere around $300-$400 for their services and ended up spending more like $750. They weren't shady or anything -- this was my decision. Sealing the grout is pretty inexpensive and good if there are no notable stains, but our kitchen grout in particular looked just awful. That's when I bit the bullet and just said stain and seal all tile in the house for consistency's sake. Expensive, but I believe it will be worth it. They mentioned coming out every year to renew the seal or something like that. I just want to say thank you for the professionalism and excellent work in the house -- it really was night and day! I should note that everyone that's come in since has thought that the tile was brand new. A couple of them are planning on calling up Steam It for their own places. My family and I have really bad allergies. And I have used several different air duct companies but we still don't ever seem to feel relief. The only thing smooth about moving was Steam It! I was suppose to have movers come and move me on a Thursday and they never showed. Steam It was suppose to come out after the movers left. So to make a long story short. The movers rescheduled with me 3 times!!! And in return I had to reschedule with Steam It 3 times!! In the end Steam It ended up coming out on a Sunday after I had called them at the last minute to reschedule yet again. And they didn't even charge me extra for all the last minute changes or confusion! And not only that but they did a fantasic job on the carpet and they were on-time! Unlike my movers!
