At The Beach Tanning

I had never tried the versa spa before. I saw the ad for a free session last month. I went in and tried it and got instant color that looked good on me. The guy Jonny that was working explained the membership options to me and the 12 month plan seemed like the best option for me. \r \r I signed up and they had that paperless signature thing and Jonny went through that with me. I dont know where all these people are getting that they weren't aware what they bought, Jonny spent plenty of time explainign everything to me and I am very happy with what i bought more

I went in with a free week coupon to try their services. I was told that the free week didn't apply until you bought a package so I listened to the pitch and signed up for a month. The room they assigned me to had a bed that sounded like it was going to explode at any second, had a dirty floor, no working fans, and speaker wires haning out of the wall. Not a good first impression. I went back to the front desk and told them that this was not what I was paying for. After the ""manager"" told me to fill out a repair request I asked for a refund. They told me no refunds were avaliable. more

I absolutely love AT the Beach! Jessika is the sweetest girl and has always been supper friendly and helpful everytime I go in to tan. I have been to many different tanning salons, and this one is the best. I go 2 or three times a week to use their Turbo beds and I always leave with a smile. Jessika is so nice that I feel like I'm talking to an old friend. Thank you! more

I see all this bad press about At The Beach but I don't get it. I have been tanning here the last 5 or 6 years, and my sister used to go to one in Tulsa. Yes they sell memberships, big deal, so does my gym. When I bought my first one they explained it to me, I read it and signed and got to tan. I love the selection of beds, and love how friendly everyone is when I go in to tan. Plus it makes a difference to me when they tell me about the lotion specials and stuff. How would I know what lotion is good if they were not so helpful. DON'T LET THE HATERS BRING YOU DOWN!! I LOVE AT THE BEACH more

I use the Versa Spa spray tan every week and always have a good experience. The employees are very friendly, courteous, knowledgable, and patient with me and other customers. more

After putting up with the jerks at work it really brightens my day to come into ATB and be greeted with a smile from Nicky. She is Very friendly and funny which makes coming in to tan something I always look forward to. more

if price is not an issue, this is the place for you. they have great products and services and usually friendly staff. the reason I take so many stars away is because it's overly expensive and if you walk in those doors, they'll push you for a contract like there's no tomorrow. they'll also push for you to buy products EVERY TIME you come in, even if you've told the same employee all month that you don't want to buy any more lotion. seriously. they sound like broken records, reminding you that they have lotion for sale, as if they didn't have it displayed right there for me to see already. maybe that sounds nitpicky, but I'm so over their constant sales pushing. when I say no, I mean it, and I want them to stop begging me to spend! I recently lost my credit card and had it replaced, forgot to tell ATB, and they charged me $35 for the credit card denial and another $15 for a late payment. all instead of just calling me to say ""hey, something happened with your account, let's fix this."" I would've really appreciated it. if you want to cancel your contract, it costs over $150 to do so. so like I said, if price is not an issue, then go for it. they really are pretty great if you have all the money in the world. if not, be prepared to spend around $65/month (if you want any of the good beds at all) and be locked into a contract for that for a minimum of 1 year. more

I just love using the Versa Spa. Its a quick session 2-3 times a week that makes you tan. I just got the Versa Bag. I love the gloss spray. more

I love the Broadway ATB. I have been tanning with ATB for little more than 4 years. I always tan in the SunAngel, or the 360. The versa spa is great if you need to get tan fast. Pros: Good prices, Great Beds, SunAngel more

If you look at all the other At the Beach locations, they are writing the possitive comments themselves. You will see the same comments with the same names attached. Do you want to give business to a company that has to lie about their reputation because no customer will actually write a possitive response? Please look into this company before visiting it. more
