At Home Furniture and Mattress SuperStore

I have bought here two times and have had nothing but great service, always helpful and no damaged product. The complaints I see are mostly their own error, when they order something it is shipped to the store. When I bought my daughters bedroom set I showed up to pick it up and they brought it to my vehicle and asked me if I would like to inspect it before signing off, ofcourse I did who wouldn't? So if you don't check it and you get home to open a box and find broken furniture it's not their fault it is the shipping company and yours for not inspecting your product. I live in Eugene and travel to them for their pricing, which some comments complain about quality, well if you want quality high end then you should be shopping at lazy boy but obviously you get what you pay for. In the end I work in high end (Herman Miller etc) office furniture sales and installations, so I know first hand what good customer service is about and that is what I received here. I would name in specific who was great by names but the people who also helped as far as loading and inspecting I did not get their names. I would recommend At Home. Jeremy Young, Eugene, Or more

Please listen to these reviews and save yourself future hassles and disappointment! Poor quality furniture, deceptive practices. We purchased a couch and loveseat here and shortly thereafter, we had one of the springs pop in the couch. We had purchased the extended warranty as the salesman assured us it would cover anything, even if it was our fault. Well, the first repair required us to haul the couch in and back home for the repair. Okay, so it was inconvenient, but it was taken care of. Now, another few months later, another spring has popped in almost the exact same spot as before. Thinking we were covered, I called to see about getting it fixed - again. I was told, of course not only did we have to haul it both ways, it was not covered and that the original repair was covered under the manufacturers warranty, which had now expired. I was then advised that the extended warranty we were roped into purchasing did not cover any damages or repairs, that it was only for fabric and that we would have to pay for it ourselves. We refuse to jump through hoops for less than quality furniture and will never make another purchase with this store again. Very sad they take advantage of buyers and then do nothing to make things right. more

I am kind of shocked at some of these negative comments. I have been in this store and purchased several times. never once have i been treated rudely. Always courteous and friendly. I have even had a chair break and it was fixed as soon as la z boy sent parts. I have no complaints but really have to question the "two sides to every story" theory. I work in customer service and deal with issues all day long there are always two sides to every story. I would definately do business with them again and I have sent not only my children in to purchase but my friends. Go in and check it out for yourself. more

Should be able to rate Zero! I've always had the gut feeling that the owners and employees at this store were rude. Today it was confirmed. They have a Independent JCPenney Catalog Center and their online information @ www.noplacelikeit.com says that one can return all catalog purchases through them. Today I drove 40 min. 1 way specifically to make a return. I found out they will NOT return anything over $100 unless it was purchased through them. I had 5 different orders. At least 4 were under $100. They would take nothing so I will have to go to a regular JCP catalog center to return anything or ship it myself. I left in tears, BBB will be hearing from me! more

If I could give them a 0 I would. We bought our dining set from them and picked it up ourselves instead of paying for them to deliver it. When we got it home and opened the boxes several of the chairs were damaged. Since we did not pay to have them deliver and set up they refused to fix the problem. I've never had to deal with such rude customer serrvice in my life. more

Spent $1700 and my recliner broke in 3 weeks and they want to charge us $45 to fix it!! No other furniture store would treat a customer that way!! more

There is ABSOLUTELY NO customer service at this furniture store! I spent $1700 last month on a living room set and my recliner broke 3 weeks later, I contacted the store and was told they can get me a part to "fix it" but it will take 3 weeks to get the part!! I have purchased new furniture a couple of times in my life and every other furniture store would have replaced the piece immediately...not At Home Furniture!!! They also want me to pay $45 for them to pick up my recliner when the part comes in 3 weeks from now??!! I paid $1700 three weeks ago and now I have to pay $45 for them to fix my recliner?? I have never in my life seen such poor customer service!! Please do yourself a favor and spend your money at a reputable furniture store! Their prices are NO BETTER and other stores stand behind their products and their customers! NOT THIS STORE!!! You will receive 100% better customer service at Costco for Gods sake!!! Would you buy $1700 furniture at Walmart??? Because if you buy furniture at AT HOME FURNITURE you may as well be shopping for your furniture at Walmart!! Thats how well they treat customers that spend a fortune at their store!!!!! more

I've recently had a terrible experience with At Home Furniture in Albany. To quote a staff memeber there, "In these tough economic times....". Well, in these tough economic times I wish I had spent my money else where. Each time I called regarding my order I was given a different answer. Miscommunication or lies? I'm not sure. I finally received my order a couple of days after filing fraud charges with my visa company. Not sure if that was a coinscidence or not. There are a number of great furniture stores in the area. Save yourself some anxiety and buy from the others. I wish I had known of their terrible customer service before I bought from At Home. As a new member to this community I'm saddened and disgusted by the service received. more

After purchasing my new home I needed to furnish it as well. This was my first and only stop. This business has everything you could ever need. The staff is knowledgable and the prices are great compared to other places I have been in the past. This place was kept well cleaned and was pleasing to the eye. more
