Service A+ Hearing Device C 3/18/2014

Dr Deleon & Melissa are terrific. The hearing aid itself leaves much to be desired. It has broken 3 times in a year & still changes channels while I'm sitting at my desk. It is better than no hearing aid at all, but I would not recommend it to others. more

A pleasing experience. 2/11/2014

I am very please with Leisa at Ascent Audiology. I have already recommended her several times. She and her assistant were great. They had a lot of follow through and communicated very well. If I had any questions they were always available to answer them. Everything has worked out very well. I am pleased with my experience. more

I went to Ascent Audiology for hearing aids. I never recommend anybody so that is why I only gave one star for willingness to recommend. I have only had one meeting with them. In two months I will be going back. Everything seems ok so far. more

Melissa at the front desk is efficient and friendly. She is flexible in setting up and changing appoinntments. Dr. DeLeon is awesome. She spends up to 90 minutes with me at each visit. 12/24/2013

I chose Ascent Audiology partly because of its location in Foxhall Square. I am a student of an adult education program at American University, and I can access the office by Metro to Tenleytown and AU shuttle. Ascent was the fourth audiology provider I had tried. Althugh the price was not the lowest, it was not the highest, and the inclusion of follow-up appointments helped defray the cost. The instruments (Starkey) are of high quality and will please me once they are fine-tuned. At the moment, I get aa crunching celloophone sound on setting 3, so that is not helpful. I have made an appointment with Dr. DeLeon to adjust the hearing aids. more

Ascent Audiology's front desk staff are very personable and professional. The doctor is busy so she has a full schedule but I think the person making the appointments was fairly flexible in working around my schedule (I have a busy schedule too). My major issue with the practice is that they are closed for lunch between 1 and 2 and they are completely closed. So if you come early for a 2 o'clock appointment, you have to wait in the lobby of the building. more

Very nice 11/7/2013

I went to Ascent Audiology the first time for get examined and Dr. Leisa let me know my hearing was deteriorating. She's a very good doctor--I like her very much. I would recommend her to anybody. In fact, I got a few of her cards to hand out to my friends. My eldest daughter went with me and she liked her too. Her service is very good. She takes time with you, very patient. more

Dr. DeLeon at Ascent Audiology Washington DC is completely professional and involved in what she's doing. She's very thorough. You don't feel at all rushed. You feel her professionalism and ability coming through to you at all times. She will go out of her way to research anything you ask and show you on the screen exactly what is going on. I have done follow ups since and found her in the same professional manner with the same amount of thoroughness each and every time. She has even offered to take one of my devices and calibrate it for me. more

Friendly, professional, and intelligent people. 11/5/2013

I've had no problems at all with Ascent Audiology Washington DC. I get good service there. They actually answer all of my questions and they put me through a whole series of tests to make sure I get the right product that's adjusted to my hearing. If I have any problems I can go back and they'll check and make sure everything is corrected. It's good, friendly service. It's been approximately a year since I got my hearing aid. I would highly recommend Dr. Leisa and the service and the company because they give good service and they are very knowledgeable. I'm looking for people who are very knowledgeable and who I can ask any question and they'll break things down for me. Dr. Leisa and her staff are just that. more

Ascent Audiology Washington D.C.'s office is very pleasant and very, very professional. They take the time to listen to your needs and what you're saying. I think they are truly interested that you come out of there satisfied. This was my first visit there. I happened to walk by, saw it, and said I'd give it a try. They will take the time to listen to you and figure out what your hearing issues are. They work with you to get the best solution that suits you. more

Dr. DeLeon is absolutely the best audiologist I have seen. My resistance to her excellent advice and WONDERFUL testing was financial and I will try to cooperate if possible. She was absolutely wonderful, and spending time with her was a pleasure. She will only hear raves from me as I recommend her. more

I followed Dr. DeLeon from her previous position as Audiologist and have been SO happy with all of the care she has given me. She treats you as an individual and finds what works best specifically for your special needs. She is REALLY smart, clever and knows her field impeccably. I would totally recommend her to anyone who thinks they may have a hearing concern. The help and advise she has given me has improved my quality of life immensely. It is completely worth the expense you invest. more

Great service and attentiveness 8/7/2013

The office environment is calming and very pleasant. The patient is made to feel comfortable immediately and the personal attention received is outstanding. There was absolutely no pressure sales pitch and ample time was given for interaction and the answering of questions. Great experience! more

My poor hearing doesn't seem fixable 6/19/2013

The hearing aid is not changing things very much for me, and it didn't improve my hearing a great deal. My hearing is very bad but I don't think anything is going to help me unfortunately but I appreciate their efforts. more

My first visit was a free consultation via a newspaper promotion but the audiologist still spent more than an hour testing and advising me. Subsequent visits were equally as thorough and beneficial. more
