I chose Ascent Audiology partly because of its location in Foxhall Square. I am a student of an adult education program at American University, and I can access the office by Metro to Tenleytown and AU shuttle. Ascent was the fourth audiology provider I had tried. Althugh the price was not the lowest, it was not the highest, and the inclusion of follow-up appointments helped defray the cost. The instruments (Starkey) are of high quality and will please me once they are fine-tuned. At the moment, I get aa crunching celloophone sound on setting 3, so that is not helpful. I have made an appointment with Dr. DeLeon to adjust the hearing aids.
