Dear Sirs; Kudos to Arvell Moore employees. On 2111110 David Harrison, Comfort Consultant rescued us when our old Amana heat system failed during very cold weather. David temporarily restored heat twice--on separate days. He also sold us a new Trane system and arranged for everything at the job site, including enhanced filtration, new insulation in the attic, and a last minute addition of an UV Light system. We have new ducts, no mildew and clean air to breathe. On 2/18/20] 0, a telTific 5-man work crew arrived and immediately tackled removal of the old CHI AC system, building a walkway for easy access and installing the new Trane CH/AC system, these fellows: Martin (Lead installer) Tony R., Tony G, Arturo, Tony C. were courteous, cheerful individuals who immediately answered our questions. They kept us appraised of their progress. Electrical lines for the unit were added and new insulation piled high in the attic At our request the crew sprayed insecticide that we supplied to the inside perimeter of the attic before blowing in the new insulation, because we had a large invasion of ants previously. They also moved some attic storage items for space to complete their job. Our thanks to David Harrison, Martin, Tony R., Tony G., Arturo, and Tony C. for a job well done. To Whom It May Concern: February 19, 2010 Martin and his crew from Arvell Moore in LaPorte, recently installed an entirely new ac/heating system (including duct work) in my EI Lago home. They arrived on time, in fact actually 15 minutes early, for the job, which is rare in my experiences. They were careful to cover all carpets and flooring wherever they would be traveling. They were very polite and professional at all times. They answered all my questions courteously, taking time to explain how the system worked. They worked the entire day and into the evening so that my family would be comfortable for the night. Tony, Tony and Tony, three great workers from the crew even removed two dead and very stinky critters from a tight crawl space in my attic! When finished, they cleaned up their mess and removed all the old debris. I highly recommend Martin and his crew for any of your heating or air-conditioning needs. My family used another commercial company here in Houston until we needed them on the weekend and no one answered the phone. My wife called Arvell Moore AC/ Heating (2814715700 I recommed that you call them if in need of service and let them know that BUSY BLUE said to give them a call and they will take care of your problem), and they responded within a couple of hours. What a scam. Do NOT trust these guys!! They've got huge markups and try to talk you out of everything you want. They'll charge you a lot of money for a ""new super energy efficient"" A/C that's really just a used one they patched up from someone else's house!! I saw beer cans in the back of the tech's truck when he came up too... and one of them definitely seemed like he was high on something. I didn't want them in my house! On Aug 6 Arvell Moore sent a crew to my home. Martin and his team were present on the job. According to what was seen at the time there is no evidence to damage in the home. the work intended is completed and professional. All workers were pleasent and worked well together. We also appreciate the draping of the stairs to help reduce the traffic impact. We have already referred friends to this company and will continue to do so. Last Nov. i called Arvell Moore to report a possible leak in my AC unit Arvell Moore had replaced the outside unit the previous sept.; but slowly the unit was taking longer and longer to keep the house cool. A representative came out and determined my attic evaporator unit had to be replaced because the exsisting evaporator was obsolete. Pros: Quality Work more

During the final week of July 2008, my wife and found the need for the services of a responsive and reliable air conditioning contractor. Our first contact was ?cold?. I got the number from the yellow pages. I don?t recall the young lady?s name that answered but she was very courteous and helpful. She took our number and said that Doug would return the call within 15 minutes. He called back well within the 15 minutes envelope. After discussing our needs he offered some suggestions. We wanted to actually see the brand being offered so Doug arranged for us to come by the office in LaPorte and for Anita to help us until he arrived. She pointed out equipment that would be representative of what we were considering along with a running commentary on the quality of the Arvell Moore Organization. She was extremely helpful and furnished information which was very influential in our decision to purchase the system that we did. On his arrival, Doug covered various other items: warranty extension to 10/10/10 years on everything, that having an annual inspection/tune up would extend the labor portion of the warranty on a year by year basis for up to ten years. Service calls are available in our area. Doug said that the day after we committed we would have the cooling by the end of the day. No fibs here, just performance as promised! This leads to my most recent contact with Arvell Moore. Martin led the installation team. This man and his crew were punctual, professional and friendly. They kept the work area clean and picked up. People knew where things were. They didn?t have to hunt for parts or tools (no trips back to the shop.) Although he was also working, Martin was constantly aware of what the rest of his crew was doing. With the work ethic, they demonstrated, they will be able to ?run a crew? sometime soon. This system has been operating for approximately 10 days at this point. It will be interesting to see how ?kWh used compare to the past. David and two workers checked my old unit and found several leaks. They then installed a new 3 ton condenser and compressor at my home on today?s date. Chris was the repair person who came out to check my A/C. The potential problem was a leak from my A/C unit causing water to leak into the unit below me. Chris checked my unit & my neighbors' unit as well. He explained to her that the problem was not my unit nor was it hers that she most likely had a pipe leak in her ceiling/ He was very nice to me & my neighbor. I have suffered with allergies for years. I was taking five different medications to treat the problems.
