Arvell Moore Air Cond & Htg

On March 31st and April 1st Roman Maldonado and Juan Rosales from Arvell Moore installed a new 4 ton air conditioning and heating system in my home. The installation included replacing the Air Conditioning Compressor on the outside, adding an electrical disconnect, the gas Heater, Evaporator Coil, the vent pipe from the heater, all of the DUCT work in the attic and installing a new digital programmable thermostat. Both men seemed to know their job and performed it very well. The men let me know when they were leaving for lunch or to run and get a part they needed that was unexpected. They placed drop covers down both days to protect the flooring in my home and were very careful removing and bringing in the parts that went in the attic so they would not damage my home in any way. They cleaned up each afternoon so that my home was fully usable by my family and also made sure that we had A/C in the sleeping area of our home before they left on March 31st. Had the company come and install a A/C & Heat Pump, ducts were already there, they just replace the old stuff. They did a good job installing. Problem is the installation wiring was incorrect. I had an electrician fixing some other things and he noticed the gauge of wire was too small, not properly grounded, and the circuit breaker kept blowing. The company's guy argued w/ the electrician and placated him, but the electrician said to give him a call if it continues. The problem continues. I called out Arvell Moore, they failed to show for 3 appts w/out so much as a courtesy phone call. They promised me they would pay the electrician, so I had the electrician call them for direct billing and they refused. I called the company back and they said they'd send out ""Greg"". Who never showed, never called. I'm still trying to get them to do something to fix it and we're not even 60 days into the 10 year service contract (worthless contract I call it now.) Cons: Faulty install, Lack of warranty support, Spend money elsewhere. more

In a time of despair Arvell Moore came to my rescue. My Trane unit that was 25 years old caught on fire one morning when I had turned on the heat. The heat strips became saturated with freon from a leak. I called five different places and got quotes from each. When I called Arvell Moore they had a very courteous and knowledgeable employee named Doug Cucco come and explain everything that I needed that afternoon. Two days later I had not one but two units completely removed inside and out and replaced with two brand new high efficiency units. The work and workers were what I consider high quality. Arvell Moore has now been recommended to my parents and the rest of my family. I will continue to recommend them to anyone. Out of a five star rating Arvell Moore gets a 5++++++. He did a wonderful job for me. I had him do my house, I liked the work so well I had him to do my office also. He will be doing more work for me in the future. He stayed within my budget.
