Marc, the service representative was excellent to deal with. He was extremely professional and have in depth knowledge about cars. He explained everything required to be done on my car plus he was able to answer other questions I had. I will be calling him for future work required on my car more

Poor service! 1/2/2011

Last year my Mom went into to Archer after speaking to the saleslady who assured her that there was a Touareg 2 available for her. My mom's old car was paid off so the lady once again assured us that it would not be a problem to get into a new one. We went there, fell in love with the Tourareg, test drove it, and went back in to fill out paperwork. All day we sat, while they ran credit. They came back and said that because my car is under her name she would not allowed to purchase the Touareg. The dealership even asked me to sell them my Jetta so that my mom could get financed. I said no! We were very upset at how poor of customer service that they have and how they can't just get a straight answer to the customer (making them wait all day like they did, only to get a big fat no). A few months later we visited Momentum VW on Richmond. Immediately she was approved for a Tourareg with ""all the bell and whistles"" and this is what she has now. I asked Momentum why Archer was like that and how they had no problem and I was told that Archer is NOT corporately owned like Momentum is, so Momentum has more power in terms of creditors, etc. I won't be back to Archer, they seem to always never be busy. more

We went here interested in a Touareg and spoke to a very nice saleslady. The courtesy was not the issue. We stood around all day while they ran the buyer's credit and decided it was too low to sell her a car. They even asked me to co sign and sell my car/ get rid of it. I'm sorry but I need my car. They didn't try hard enough IMO to help the buyer I was with get the car. This is a dealership that shows poor finance ability and one that really doesn't want to sell a car that bad. I found out that's because they re privately owned and don't have deadlines to sell cars. We went over to Momentum and not only got a Touareg but got a far nicer/top of the line model at a lower price with awesome customer service and no stupid gimmicks or requests. more

Comfortable, easy dealing, reccommended 3/29/2010

I had not planned on making a car purchase when I stopped by Archer Volkswagen. There in an intangible ""cheerful feel"" in Volkswagen showrooms, so the mood was positive from the first step. They were quick to offer a test drive, and then the satisfying product, lack of pressure and no frustrating ""screwing around"" with the deal helped it all come together. The sales staff found a car which matched my criteria, and had it transferred to their location for me. Service has also been prompt and courteous. Pros: Courtesy, professionalism, product!
