Best

Any Hour did a good job keeping me posted about my appointment which was running a bit late. Victor did a great job and was knowledgeable and pleasant.

Worst

I would never recommend this to anyone. The plumber was extremely dishonest. We had a home inspection done and the home inspector found a leak at the connection of one of the pipe...

James E. from Any Hour Services was fantastic! He communicated with me prior to coming, showed up promptly, was pleasant, informative, and explained what he was doing and why. He then offered options, explained their impact, and left me to make a decision at my leisure. I appreciated the customer-oriented education approach and he did an amazing job. more

Robin W. of Any Hour Services came to our home today to service our furnaces, of which we have four. Honestly, if I could give Robin twenty stars, I would -- and it wouldn't be enough. Not only is he unfailingly courteous and professional, he goes far above and beyond what our maintenance plan provides. He fixed a gas leak, and then went up on our roof to try to determine the source of a drip that's been bothering us for months. He cleared the drain out in our bathroom sink (!!!) and to top everything off, identified a black widow spider by my front that I hadn't seen before. The spider won't be coming back, but I certainly hope Robin will the next time we need our furnaces serviced. Highest recommendation. more

Any Hour Electric ???? Plumbing ???? Heating & Air quoted me $10,822.00 to excavate the clean out on my sewer main line and replace the collar between it and the pipe leading to the street. They offered me 4 different payment plans, but my thought was I????d need to take out a second mortgage on my home! Three other estimates I received ranged from $1,800 to $2,200. I am very glad I decided to choose Allstar Service & Repair for the job rather than selecting Any Hour Services. Allstar matched one of the other lower estimates I received. The one main advantage I chose them for the job was that they were able to excavate, repair, and backfill the area by hand. By doing the repair without using heavy equipment, I wasn????t left with a huge patch of grass and indentations from heavy equipment that I would need to pay another company to repair. One of my shrubs had to be removed because it was directly over the sewer cleanout, but at my request Allstar Service went the extra mile to also remove three adjacent shrubs so there wouldn't be a gap in the plantings. I am very satisfied I went with Allstar Service. I suggest you think twice before selecting Any Hour Services and taking out a 2nd mortgage on your home! more

James was wonderful! He was kind and helpful. I was a bit nervous about having our old air conditioner tuned up because we had never had it serviced. What if the tune up showed we needed lots of repairs? But James found our system was is very good condition. He recommended two items that would help our old system keep going. We had the first item installed that same day. We will not hesitate to ask for James again! more

Jordan H. did a great job checking my furnace for winter, he checked, and cleaned several things inside my furnace that I never knew about. I had purchased a new filter for my furnace, I asked if he would put it in for me, he did that was much appreciated! Jordan also had a positive attitude, and was friendly. I will continue to use Any Hour for all my Household needs that they provide. more

Very dishonest company.. I hired them to do two ""swamp cooler start-ups"" on my office building which you would think would imply that the swamp coolers would ""start up"" after their service. They came out, looked at the units and told me that the motors etc were bad and could not be ""started up"". They DID NOT PERFORM ANY WORK on the coolers but charged the full price anyway. I tried to resolve this with the company multiple times but never received a return call from the owner or management. I called in as a new customer and asked what they would charge to come and inspect the condition of two coolers on my office, the receptionist told me that they would charge $59 to come and inspect the coolers. I sent in a check for that amount along with an explanation. I never heard anything back from them and thought the matter was resolved... 4 months later I was contacted by a collections company for the balance plus fees. Again I left a message for the owner and never heard back... \r WARNING: DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING UNTIL THEY ARE DONE! They will ask you to sign something to ""start"" the work.. but if you look at where you sign, it says ""all work has been performed to my satisfaction"".\r STAY AWAY from this company, they would have no problem taking advantage of anyone. I have had much better service with Western Heating and Air. more

I just wanted to write to express our extreme happiness with our recent drain cleaning by Zachary of Any Hour.\r \r Our 5-year-old son--for whatever reason a 5-year-old might have for doing such a thing--flushed a Hot Wheels car and pencil down our one and only toilet. (Well, that's what he told us.) Oh boy.\r \r We called Any Hour and spoke with Ronnie, I believe her name was. She was very nice and professional. She understood the importance of our issue, but due to us unfortunately having our issue during a busy day for Any Hour, she had to schedule us for the next afternoon.\r \r The next morning we got a call from Amberli, informing us that Zachary could stop by first thing in the morning (versus the afternoon appointment we originally had). Great!\r \r Zachary showed up right when we were expecting him. He was nice, courteous, clean-cut, and professional. He put on the red booties (every time BTW) and came in to assess the situation. I told him about our 5-year-old's antics. He chuckled a bit. He has five kids of his own, it turns out. So he could easily appreciate our predicament.\r \r He tested things, explained Plan A (hand auger) and a couple of increasingly ""aggressive"" plans. He was confident Plan A would do the trick. I signed on the dotted line, and he was at it.\r \r Several minutes later, Zachary was able to retrieve the wayward pencil. (Surprisingly, it wasn't in too shabby of condition for having spent a day in the toilet. But, of course, we told our 5-year-old he couldn't have it back. LOL) The Hot Wheels car didn't show up and most likely has made its way to the water treatment plant by now. (He has approximately 12,000 other Hot Wheels cars. So I don't think one missing one is going to cause him too much distress. LOL) I was happy. We had our ""Class 5"" flushing power back. (Some Lowe's marketing thing.) But Zachary wasn't exactly happy with the quality of our flush--or the fact you had to hold the handle down to make the toilet completely flush. I'd adjusted the flapper and float and other tidbits inside the tank too many times to count. I could never get it to flush ""right."" But it worked good enough, so I gave up years ago. Zachary wanted to make it right.\r \r He tried a couple of things with the parts that were inside the tank, explaining how the foam floaty thing in there didn't allow for a full flush. He explained how an air chamber under the flapper works better. Etc. After a couple of minutes, he went to his truck and returned with a replacement flapper. Exchanged it for the lame Home Depot flapper we had. And suddenly our toilet seems to have ""Class 6"" flushing power. ;) And you no longer have to hold the handle down. Awesome!\r \r After Zachary was all done and had gathered his things, he presented us with the bill. Right at the $49 as the online ad had stated. Not even an extra dime for the time or parts to replace the flapper, which wasn't part of the original deal. He went the extra mile, as they say, to not only resolve our ""toys down the toilet"" issue but to also fix our flapper problem that we'd just learned to live with.\r \r Zachary is a definite credit to your business. He is nice, courteous, highly knowledgeable, professional, and goes above and beyond doing a fantastic job!\r \r I will try to post our review in other places online. We are very very happy with Any Hour and Zachary.\r \r Thank you,\r Marty and Leelee of SLC, UT\r more

I had one of their tech out yesterday and asked the tech to clean my drain from my roof. Against their company policy but because there was no other way at the time to do it, their tech agreed. Snake wasn't long enough to really do the job but we tried. The tech was professional and courteous and I went up onto the roof to help and to make sure he was safe. So I called the company back later and scheduled another job with the proper equipment and it was scheduled for the next day between 11:00 and 1:00 pm and with the same tech. So today, after a time they could really make it on time, I got a call from Troy M. Troy M. called to let me know that I had been a bad boy for asking their guy to get on the roof and that is just something they don't allow.\r \r Even if they sent a tech now, and I get from his Troy M.'s arrogant and rude attitude that he wasn't going to send anyone because the first tech and I had broken a rule the day before, the tech wouldn't get here on time and I would not be able to make it to another commitment I told them it was important I got to on time. Troy M. felt it was important to explain what I did wrong over three times. He treated me like I didn't have a kindergarten education. Gee, I wonder how he thought I figured out how to call them in the first place. \r \r So the 1st job wasn't really done completely because they don't have proper equipment, so I was grateful for what they had done and was willing to pay for another service job with the request they bring the right equipment, but they wait to call me and teach me a lesson after it's too late for them to perform a 2nd service job, and they punish the tech and me by not sending him back out on the job. I guess they must think I'm a really bad influence on him and teach him how to swear.\r \r These people are real proud of their Mormon standards and never work on Sunday, but they don't give a crap about how they treat their customers, Typical. more

I had a spigot on the outside of the house that froze over the winter. When I turned it on a couple of days ago, water started spouting inside the house. I turned it off and it stopped. Turns out part of the valve, just inside the wall, had frozen and ruptured. I wasn't sure of the ""construction"" required to access it and get it fixed, so I called Any Hour. They quoted me a $38 fee, just to come look at it, but promised it would be applied to the cost of any repair. Jesse showed up. He was really nice. Quickly identified the problem and sat down to write up some quotes. He gave me three, ranging from about $440-$740! I figured there must be a lot more labor involved than I had thought, and made the gross mistake of not making him break down the costs. The part costs about $30 or less at any hardware store. I reluctantly agreed to the cheapest option as I didn't see $300 added value to the highest quote, but $440 still seemed extremely high, but I assumed the repair must be more labor intensive. IT WASN'T. The repair itself took him about 15 minutes, tops. Clean up and paper work may have taken another 15 minutes. Assuming they marked up the cost of parts THREE TIMES ($90) because they can (and to include misc. part costs), what the heck was the extra $340 in labor for? Assuming the entire visit, from start to finish, lasted 45 minutes (at the most), that means Jesse was charging me $453/hour labor? WTF?!! And that's already factoring in the cost of parts being ridiculously inflated! Then, to add insult to injury, he tried to charge me an additional $38 trip fee (when I mentioned that it had been explained to me that it would be applied to the cost of the repair, he just told me I was responsible to tell him that. Shady, shady, shady.) Yes, they fixed the problem. The repair was a simple one. However, their arbitrary pricing seems to be based on profiteering from people's plumbing insecurity, rather than reasonable set rates. I will not be calling Any Hour ever again, nor would I refer them. I will, however, warn whomever I can about their horrible pricing model (take as much as you can). more

Nov. 5, 2013 ... Yesterday we had Lee W. from Any Hour come to our home to give our furnace its fall tune-up. This service was completely free, as we belong to the Customer Appreciation Plan with Any Hour. As always, we were very pleased with the work. We have been using Any Hour Services ever since we bought our home in West Jordan, UT 2 1/2 years ago. It is a huge plus to have all our heating/AC, plumbing and electrical issues taken care of by just 1 place! Everyone we have talked to on the phone, or met when they've come to the house, has been very courteous, friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. The work they do is excellent and a very good value for the money. I like that this company is never ""pushy"" when suggesting other work we might benefit from. They offer the information and leave it to us to decide. A couple of times we've asked for information on something, and liked the answers so much we had it done! I would recommend Any Hour Service to everyone! more

The good: Both techs brought shoe covers & rugs as to not track in stuff. Had the right equipment, although the plumber's saw was broken & ended up buying mine while there. Also left his rug at my house. Plumber got the work done in sufficient time & seems to be good work. The electrician put in a jumper for me so I'd have power everywhere but that was it. Didn't check to see if everything was working before he left.\r \r The bad: OVERPRICED! I had several other electricians come out to bid on my problem & WOW, what a difference in price. I can now understand why they've got uniforms & nice trucks. $200 for a breaker? I can get in online for $20, & I did! ALWAYS upselling, & I mean, ALWAYS. Trying to get you to buy more stuff. More like a used car salesman than a plumber/electrician. WTH? \r \r Overall: if you've got the $$ to spend & don't mind be jacked up price-wise, go for it, otherwise, look elsewhere. Get 2nd & 3rd opinions!! You'll be surprised. more
