Absolutely the worst customer service I have every encountered ~ don't know how they stay in business! I needed table cloth's and wine glasses to accommodate a party for $125 people. The person on-line, he acted as if I was bothering him by asking what size table cloth's I need based on the measurements I gave to him. Just down-right rude. After a few questions ~ he told me he had people at the counter and he had to go. Not ""would you like to hold because I have people at the counter' or 'can I call you back."" Because I needed what I needed and they were conveniently located around the corner from the venue, I went into their location. Just as rude in person. Are times not hard? Obviously not for them ~ my advise, call Aba Daba Rentals on Auburn Blvd ~ they give outstanding customer service! I wish I had read the comments before calling them. If you live in Elk Grove (or anywhere else), save yourself the grief and take your money and go a little ways up the freeway to someone else! more

This is by far the rudest establishment I have ever been to. The owner is the start of the problems. They are scam artist and do not care if you like the way they do things. Everyone I have talked with that has done business with these people has a bad experience with this company. I went to them becuase I needed a few tables asap. I love doing business with any-event they have everything you could possible need thousands of linens on site, clean prestine equipent well maintained I have recomended all my friends families and neighbors to them because I have found them to be the best price in town wonderful people work there they go out of there way to give you advice suggestions ideas you could not ask for better customer service i dont' know anyone else in town that could beat there beautiful showroom and there willingness to go above and beyond for everyone that goes intothere establishment Pros: Excellent Equipment Beautiful Showroom more

My husband and I have lived in Elk Grove for many years and needed to rent some tables and chairs for an event we were hosting at our home. Elk Grove has been doing a lot of promotion on keeping the business in Elk Grove, so we decided to give our business to a local. Two weeks before our event my husband went into the store to reserve some tables and chairs and was told a 50% fee was required. My husband placed the order and when he got home he realized she charged him for the whole amount. When we tried to get this corrected with Linda, the owner she would not work with us. When I asked her why she charged our credit card for the whole amount when the contract clearly states a 50% deposit is required on all orders she ripped the paper out of my hand. I could not believe what was happening before my eyes. I was in shock and asked for my paperwork back and at first she did not want to give me my copy back and accused me of trying to steal her copy. She said that yesterday somebody tried to do just that. That is when I knew that this business had problems and canceled my order. Needless to say she would not give us credit and so now I have to go through the hassle of disputing the charge. So please take my advice and save yourself a lot of frustration and do not use this company, Any Event Party Rental in Elk Grove, CA. A good friend of ours who is a physician had referred me to them. Since I trust his judgement my husband and I decided to check out the place. From the time we waIked in their store the customer service was terrible! The owner and their staff are very rude! We didn't want to rent the items we had in mind although since the party was last minute and they were close to our place we decided to go on with the transaction. This facility is located in Elk Grove which is thesame city where I lived and when I called beforehand they said that delivery will be free. They were charging me a delivery fee which was only a 10 minute drive from their warehouse!\r \r I had rented tables, chairs, and table umbrellas from them for the first time and they had delivered more items than what was on the contract. They had over charged me and wouldn't reimburse my money even though it was their own fault in the first place. Their own delivery guy even signed the contract stating it was an error in their side and that I should get a reimbursement. To this moment I never received my money back from them. I attempted to call many times and they gave me a hard time!!! ""DON'T GET FOOLED BY THESE PEOPLE! THEY WILL JUST OVER CHARGE YOU AND GIVE YOU TERRIBLE SERVICE""! more

I ordered a tent for my brother's memorial and they gave me the wrong one. The tent did not work for the event and the owner of this place is the rudest, most unprofessional scam artist in business. I will never use them again. Cons: unfriendly, unreliable, terrible customer service more

I booked for a 20X30 tent, 50 chairs, and a table for my father's funeral ceremony. First thing that came to my attention was the customer service. Joey who is there main guy booking reservations was very impatient with me and kept putting me on hold. I got bad vibes from speaking with him about the company. However they were the only ones able to meet my needs on short notice. So I apprehensively went with them. I confirm the reservation a day before the ceremony just to make sure and Joey told me everthing was taken care of. On the day of the funeral Jordan and his crew set up the tent and table but FORGOT THE CHAIRS!!! My family, friends and guest had to stand around waiting for them to return. We were on a tight time schedule and needed to start the ceremony on time. I decided to call the company and tell them not to come anymore because I didn't want them to interrupt the service. A woman answered and immediately got defensive and rude. Now bear in mind I know that if I am rude regardless whether I am right or wrong I can expect the same response. So I was very calm and collective about this because it was beyond my control. The woman was quick to tell me that the company had a ""no return policy"" and if I refused the chairs that I would not receive any refund even though they did not setup in time as promised. She said that she will call Jordan to see where he was at and call me right back but never did. Sure enough Jordan arrived with the chairs 4 minutes after the service started. My faimly and guests ended up helping set the chairs up interrupting my dad's funeral service.\r Bottom line, I don't know how this company can stay in business for long. I would gladly pay more to avoid a company like Any Event Pary Rentals. Cons: Customer Service, poor reliabilty, poor company ethics more
