My husband and I have lived in Elk Grove for many years and needed to rent some tables and chairs for an event we were hosting at our home. Elk Grove has been doing a lot of promotion on keeping the business in Elk Grove, so we decided to give our business to a local. Two weeks before our event my husband went into the store to reserve some tables and chairs and was told a 50% fee was required. My husband placed the order and when he got home he realized she charged him for the whole amount. When we tried to get this corrected with Linda, the owner she would not work with us. When I asked her why she charged our credit card for the whole amount when the contract clearly states a 50% deposit is required on all orders she ripped the paper out of my hand. I could not believe what was happening before my eyes. I was in shock and asked for my paperwork back and at first she did not want to give me my copy back and accused me of trying to steal her copy. She said that yesterday somebody tried to do just that. That is when I knew that this business had problems and canceled my order. Needless to say she would not give us credit and so now I have to go through the hassle of disputing the charge. So please take my advice and save yourself a lot of frustration and do not use this company, Any Event Party Rental in Elk Grove, CA. I wish I would have read the other reviews before making this poor decision.
