Anna's was amazing! I meet at both locations with Anna herself and she and everyone there went above and beyond to help me find my perfect gown. Although i did not buy my dress from there felt compelled to leave a awesome review. So, thank you Anna's for making my first gown shopping experience one to remember. more

Bridesmaid appointments are only accepted during the weekdays. It makes it hard for those who work and are in the bridal party. They have waited 3 weeks to cash my check. The wedding that I was in is over. I called to let them know it that it is unacceptable to hold a check for 3 weeks and the front desk person said she told Anna and Anna said she would try to cash it this week. It is poor business to hold someone?s check! They tried to charge me for the hem of the dress and they only did the front of the dress. Poor customer service!!! more

After a lengthy and unsuccessful search for the ""perfect"" wedding gown, the journey came to an end when I stepped into Anna's Bridal Boutique. I had written a list of specifications that I handed over to my skilled sales associate Katie. She presented me with several selections to try that were all stunning but in the end, the dress of my dreams was one that she found and suggested I try. Before I made my final decision to order my dress, I made a second trip back to the shop. When Katie wasn't working, Kaz efficiently stepped right in for her and sweetly assisted me in trying the dress one more time. Next, appearing on the scene was Anna, the Fairy Godmother, who is the Master of fitting the dress and making it into the Bride's own princess gown. It's not enough to just have the most beautiful dresses at a Bridal Salon, you need to have fantastic customer service and Anna's Bridal Shop has the whole package. I highly recommend any bride-to-be to stop by and see Anna and her expert staff to find your special dress for your special day. more

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't go to this store! Anna is rude and intimidating! I brought a dress in to be fitted that I had bought somewhere else and when they found that out they started treating me like I was white trash. They took my dress in too much in the back and the front was still too big. She charged me $350 dollars to pick my dress up UNFINISHED. When my mother asked about the condition of my dress, Anna asked if I was a ""swimmer"" due to my large muscular back, to get herself off the hook. I didn't gain a pound! In fact, I have had three back surgeries, so back muscles are one thing that I don't have. We later found out that her normal seamstress was out of town through the grapevine, which is why my dress was butchered! Anna never accepted any responsibility and when we put a stop payment on the check, she called angry and said ""I never should have dealt with you from the beginning!"" If you want pictures, I have them. I have documented everything. I took my dress to another shop and they said ""Honey, I am so sorry for what happened to you! We have to reconstruct the whole back of the dress!"" They said they had customers bring in dresses from Anna's that they had to fix in the past. They showed me where beads were falling off and seams were ripped. Anna didn't want to do anything that I asked. I asked her to put cap sleeves on and she said it was impossible. Funny, because the next place I took it they were more than happy to find a way. If you don't have a strong personality, don't go there, because she will steamroll over you, and if you want to be a thrifty bride, she will treat you like dirt. If I could subtract one more star from this score, I would. This experience was a nightmare. I went to Anna's to get my dress altered. She is amazing. I absolutely love what she did to my dress. She did everything I asked for and more. First of all, can I just say that I got choked up when I had to leave Anna after picking my dress up this afternoon. I had a wonderful experience here and I couldn't be happier with the way my dress turned out. They were very helpful when I asked to order a dress they did not have in the shop. Then, I got even better service with my alterations. Every time I came in I felt welcome and beautiful. Anna is so sweet and candid. She works extremely hard to make sure you feel perfect in your dress. Thank you, Anna, and all the staff at Anna's Bridal, for making an experience I was initially terrified of, something to smile about :) I can't wait to wear it in two weeks!!! The selection process was wonderful. But after we had paid and ordered the dress it was all over! I was crushed. During fittings (we had an appointment) were kept waiting while Anna flittered around to anyone that came in while we were kept waiting . My daughter's dress was not finished when we came to pick it up 2 days before the wedding. Nothing had been done to it since our last fitting. We had to make an extra trip from out of town to pick it up the day before the wedding and were told then, for the first time it needed to be cleaned and pressed for additional costs. The day of the wedding I noticed- Sequins on seams that had been let out were falling off. Bodice/neckline was ""altered"" by a single basting stitch and still puckered. I went to Anna's Bridal for my wedding gown and was extremely pleased with the entire experience. I checked out other bridal shops and didn't get the one on one attention I got from Anna. She was very easy to work with and understood what I was looking for. The selection is enormous and they have a wide variety of price ranges for all different types of dresses. I highly recommend Anna's Bridal to anyone, because you'll feel like the staff really cares about you and wants the best dress for you. I purchased my dress from Anna's in 2004, at their former location and had a great experience. In fact, I found a dress that I adored on their sale rack and Anna made it fit me just right. I was having a hard time finding bridesmaid dresses that I wanted, so I found a perfect fabric and Anna made all 7 dresses! We had such a great experience that we visited their new (current) location for my sister's wedding and found her dress and bridesmaid dresses there too. I cant say enough about my experience at Anna's Bridal. I was first introduced to Anna's as a bridesmaids. Most bridal stores in town treat bridesmaids like scum. Anna's has been nothing but wonderful for me so far! I made an appointment on a whim, since I thought I'd already found a dress at another store. But, once I went to Anna's I completely changed my mind! Anna had me try on a dress that I didn't think would be my style, but once I put it on I knew it was the one! She has an amazing eye and found me THE perfect dress! My dress came in exactly when they said it would, and fits almost perfectly before alterations! When I went in for my first fitting, my mom began to browse for a dress for herself, and with Anna's help, the first one she tried on was it! I thankfully found my way to Anna?s Bridal Boutique based on a recommendation from a friend, after having tried multiple shops in the area. I am so happy I did! From the second I walked in the door, I knew this bridal salon was different. From the moment I walked into Anna's Bridal Boutique, I felt like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. Not only was I thinking of all the details of my wedding and the guest list etc, but now I had to pick out a dress that I loved and looked great in. Anna and her team asked all the right questions, from what styles I liked to how much detailing I wanted, etc. I didn't have to look through all the dresses to find my perfect one. They pulled a few for me and I tried them on. Within the first 2 I tried on, I knew I had found the perfect dress. Anna listened to everything I said and picked out the most amazing dresses in her collection to match exactly what I wanted! If only planning the rest of my wedding was that easy! Just a week after getting engaged, my fiance and I traveled to Portland to visit his family. We were living in San Francisco at the time but I was so anxious to try on gowns that my fiance's mom and sister took me wedding dress shopping. We chose to make an appointment at Anna's because we'd heard they have a fantastic assortment of dresses for every style and budget. We were not disappointed! Everyone was so helpful and welcoming, despite me telling them I was from out of town, just looking and not intending to order anything that day. Being newly engaged, I wasn't totally sure what I wanted but I did have a small collection of gowns I liked in magazine ads. Anna helped me try on the dresses from the ads but with a little general info from me (indoor or outdoor ceremony? what time of year? time of day?), she also patiently walked me around the store giving me fresh ideas. She asked me what I thought of a dress that was beautifully displayed in the front of the store. It was pretty but I didn't like the neckline so Anna quickly folded here and tucked there, and WALLAH I was looking at my dream gown! I tried it on, my fiance's mom cried, and Anna played with accessories. Once back in San Francisco, I felt I needed to try other dresses to compare before I made this once in a lifetime decision. I went to appointments at three bridal stores but nothing compared to the selection and thoughtful expertise I experienced while finding my dream gown at Anna's! Now happily married and living in Portland, I head to Anna's whenever I have a bridesmaid's dress that needs altering. Anna's in-house alterations team works wonders! I am shocked by the negative reviews. I bought my dress from Anna's after trying 4 other salons in Portland. Anna and her staff were so amazing - they genuinely want to find you the dress of your dreams. They have a wide range of styles and prices from great designers. I didn't even notice the dress I ended up LOVING until Kaz pulled it after listening to all my likes, dislikes, and budget. Anna showed me an alteration she could make to the back of the dress to make it so much prettier (and unique!). She gave me a veil and even a bouquet to try on with it, which no other salon did. And she is the sweetest lady in the world - she, Kaz, and Nora made my appointment so special and fun. My sister and I went back the next day to pick out dresses for my bridesmaids. The best!!! Anna is wonderful! I ordered my dress for my rehearsal dinner online, and it didn't fit. I couldn't return it either. I took it to Anna, and she basically remastered the entire dress, and you couldn't even tell! She was so sweet and made me feel like a princess. Pros: wonderful staff more

I'm really suprised at all the bad reviews. If you look at BBB they have an A+ and to me personally that speaks volumes. Go ahead and look up the other bridal places in the area...none of them have an A+ on BBB. My experience at Anna's was great. They were mindful of my budget and only pulled dresses that were in my price range and helped me find the dress of my dreams. Katie and Anna pulled about 6 dresses for me to try on and I loved the very first dress I put on and I purchased it yesterday and I couldn't possibly be more thrilled. I bought a Pronovia's gown and I couldn't be happier! Go to Anna's they have a large selection of beautiful dresses ie Melissa Sweet, Manual Mota and the likes. In all fairness I have only purchased the gown and it has gone very smoothly. I will post again once my dress arrives and I start the alteration process. This place is great....go see for yourself. I visited Anna's with my mom today after hearing positive things from my sister's friend. I'd been out to a few shops last year (I postponed my wedding), so I already had a very specific description of what I wanted. When we came into the store, a woman (not the owner) greeted us and mistook us for her upcoming appointment, we said we had no appointment but asked if it was okay to look around. She said that was fine, and proceeded to help us search until her appointment arrived. I told her my budget was $1500-2000, but that I was willing to go up to $2500 if I fell in love with a more expensive dress. We were in the store 20-30 minutes and picked 4 or 5 dresses to try on and the woman put them in a dressing room. When we were in the room, she asked if I needed a bustier and while she was gone, the owner came in and told us we needed to come back in half an hour or an hour when they were done with their appointments. While I appreciate that they want to dedicate time to their appointments, if there was an issue with us being in the store at that time they should have told us the minute we came in the door, not when we had been there for half an hour! I was already undressing when she told us we had to leave. Plus, there were three fitting rooms and only two appointments, so we could have easily tried the dresses on in our room for half an hour until they could better assist us. The girl who we started out with was fine, it was the owner that was rude. I think she must have heard that my budget was ""only"" $2000 and that wasn't enough. My sister's friend was willing to spend $4-5K so perhaps that made the difference between a lousy and a good experience.
