I was a bridesmaid in a wedding, and we bought our dresses from Andreas. As the previous post also mentions, the selection was pretty extensive. We received our dresses just in time, and my dress, as was agreed upon by the Andrea's employees, needed no alterations. Phew!\r

The dresses were beautiful, fit everyone perfectly, and the wedding ceremony was wonderful. However, as I sat down to dinner at the reception the zipper on my dress split! Luckily, the wedding coordinator had enough safety pins to keep my dress closed for the remainder of the wedding. The 14 pins running down the back of my dress was a bit of an eyesore, though.\r

After the wedding, I called Andrea's to discuss whether they could fix it, or compensate me in some way, because clearly it was not a cheap dress! To spend over $200, I would have liked it to last more than an hour!\r

I spoke with 2 employees (one telling me that I was wasting my time calling, and that nothing was their fault), and left messages for the owner to call me back. When she finally did, she was heading out on vacation, and would 'call me back'. After two weeks of hearing nothing, I called again. The owner had forgotten. Still, she offered no help whatsoever. She would send me a shipping label to send her the dress so that she could see it (since I am from Boston). Now, it has been over a MONTH since the wedding, I have seen NO shipping label, have received NO help at all. I've gotten the runaround since day one, on a problem that could have been easily fixed. It's inevitable that problems like this happen, but the treatment and customer service (or lack there of) is completely unacceptable.\r

Great place to buy dresses, but you better hope nothing goes wrong, because you're on your own and you're out $200! (or more!)
