I agree with the 2 posts above. I went to Andrea's to find my wedding gown after I searched high and low everywhere else. The selection was better than most bridal shops, and the staff was pretty attentive - UNTIL I purchased my gown! After that, the ""customer service"" went straight downhill. When I came for my fittings, they were more concerned with the next dollar sign that walked thought the door than me - Is it too much to ask for the complete follow through? On top of that - ordering my shoes was ridiculous - they didn't have the most popular shoe size in stock (8), when I told them to order them, I was told that the ""Owner"" would be placing the order in a few days - it would be ordered at that time. I called and called and wouldn't you know it, she was on vacation! That must be the excuse for everything... All in all it took 7 weeks to order the shoes, and then they had to be dyed to match my dress (which was the whole reason I wanted to order them early, b/c any bride can tell you sometimes they don't match!) On top of that they charged me to order the shoes when they should've had them in stock! My alterations were a joke. She actually argued with me on where the hemline should lay! WHAT?! When the alterations were complete, they were LESS than par. I doubt they would hold up 20+ years from now when my future daughter would wear the gown. This business is only good for purchasing the Gown- after that - run to their competitors for all your alterations. I spent a total of $1,800+ on my ""dream gown"" incl. the undergarments, shoes, etc... For the price - I should've been treated like gold. After all, I was the bride, and with all the stress and timelines I was under - I could've done without all the drama they put me though.
Pros: Selection
Cons: Terrible Customer Service( after purchase) , Poor alterations, overpriced, Lack of most popular shoe sizes, delays with ordering ANYTHING, Excuses for not keeping their word.
