Best

I love it so much, I had my wedding rehearsal dinner there! I went on the recommendation of KNBR's Ralph Barbiari. It is the best thin crust pizza out there. I like my pie with fr...

Worst

I finally found the ultimately thin crust, which is crisp without being too dry. A friend whose epicurean knowledge is usually trustworthy suggested the Pesto pizza. Momma mia, w...

Pizza pizza! 6/30/2006

Its really nice to get some yummy pizza that is higher quality than your everyday Dominos or Pizza Hut. You could taste the good quality, however I could also taste the burnt dough. Yes, my pizza actually came to me burnt. But I truly believe that that was an accident that doesnt happen everyday, although I would have appreciated it if they just replaced it for me. The atmosphere was great, the waitresses were very attentive. I also like that its right on Castro, downtown Mountain View. That is actually how I found it since I was just walking along lookig for a good place to sit down and eat at. more

OK pizza, but then we got food poisoning 11/3/2005

We live a few blocks from Amici's so we were excited to have a new place to walk to when it opened. We split an Italian sausage pizza and both got food posining from what I can only guess was undercooked sausage. This was several years ago and we till can't bring oursleves to go back to the place even though it is one of the few non-Indian/non-Asian restaurants on Castro Street! more

Great pizza 8/18/2005

This is my favorite pizza place in the South Bay. They have a pizza called the Amici' special which is a pizza with everyone on it. It is the best. Thin crust combination pizza. which you would call new york style. They also have another pizza called the margerhita which is also great. You can order it without sauce. I take all of my friends, visitors and colleages to Amici's more

The best thin-crust pizza this side of Italy! 8/16/2005

It's hard to find good thin-crust pizza. Sometimes they can be soggy, sometimes the dough is too sweet. Amici's has perfect thin-crust pizza--cooked in a wood-burning pizza oven, so the crust gets crisp and black in places. They use top-quality cheeses (not the rubbery, tasteless mozzarella typical in your average pizza joint) and I swear they put crack in their pepperoni, it's so addictive. When I was pregnant, I could eat an entire medium by myself in about 5 minutes flat. If you feel guilty about chowing down so much pizza, get a side of their chilled lemon broccoli. It's cooked perfectly and is so delicious, it'll make anyone happy to eat their vegetables! more

great pizza 8/5/2005

I love their pizza. It is a little pricey but well worth it. Their linguissa pizza cannot be compared to any other pizza. They also do not do delivery, which is a bummer. If you are looking for cheap and easy this isn't it. But if you are looking for excellent quality, try Amici's Pizza. more

somewhat disappointed 7/21/2005

we used to live up in Redwood City and the Amici's up there became our favorite resturant, however, the one in Mountain View doesn't seem to be as good. we love a New York style pie, they have a nice think crust, but for some reason their pizza's seem dry lately, we like more grease. more

Yummy, I've got burnt food in my tummy 7/10/2005

This is a pretty fair place to get pizza I guess. It is located on a nice location on Castro St. The building inside is nice and clean. The waitresses are nice, but they all look the same. The pizza that I ate was burnt, which I didn't really like because I heard burnt food can cause cancer. So if you want cancer, this is the place to go to. But the pizza was okay I guess I've had better but if you have no where else to go I guess you can eat here. more

Try a different pizzaria 7/2/2005

I've had better pizza. more
