I finally found the ultimately thin crust, which is crisp without being too dry. A friend whose epicurean knowledge is usually trustworthy suggested the Pesto pizza. Momma mia, w...

Amici's East Coast Pizzeria is great for family outings 6/30/2009

I think they have wonderful pizza, great service but not ny style pizza really, i think its a nice choice for families to go to and take their kids. I wouldn't go here on a date but i ordered take out and the pizza was delicious. I especially like the vegetarian more

good basic pizza 3/20/2009

//testing out this feature// Pros: the ambience is casual and family friendly Cons: not the best of best pizza's but decent quality more

Yummy thin crust pizza... 5/20/2008

but i don't know how "east coast" it is. This is a great place to go with a group and share 3 of four of their creative and taste combinations. The pastas a decent, and you get a lot. It can be a little pricey but it's worth it if you a craving quality. more

good place 2/22/2008

Most people i know love this place. I personally think that this place is over rated . the pizzas and pastas are just ok not great or excellent .One thing though , they do deliver the food quickly , more

good but a bit overated 12/30/2007

Tried Amici's this week based on the reviews here. The pizza was good but definitely not the best pie's west of New York or even in San Jose for that matter. There were three in our group and we had caesar salad (so-so), minestrone soup (very good), pizza (good) and lasagna (very good), The wait staff was prompt for the most part but the prices are rediculously high for the pizza. Pros: good minestrone soup and lasagna Cons: way too expensive for a pizza more

My favorite pizza & pasta joint! 5/7/2007

I love it so much, I had my wedding rehearsal dinner there! I went on the recommendation of KNBR's Ralph Barbiari. It is the best thin crust pizza out there. I like my pie with fresh garlic and the minestrone soup is great! Cool place to hang out with friends. Pros: Beautiful service people and Great food! Cons: No reservations taking and lack of parking more

Good Pizza, Not Great 11/16/2006

The pizza here is pretty good pizza, but it's not great. It has the possibility to be great. The crust is really good, one of the best. But the sauce, is just bland, almost like ketchup. It's the one thing they really need to work on. And for the money, its over priced. I do like the atmosphere, and if I'm with friends, sharing a pie, is good. If you want reallt great pizza, drive about 5 more minutes and go to Gumba's in Sunnyvale. Lots more for less. more

Go if you want to spend 20$ and still be hungry 6/21/2006

I have been there and will never go back. Pizza was so bad, i never had so bad pizza; not even the frozen ones.....place is a bit pricey too - u feel like that esp. after such a bad dinner. pasta was horrible too... Pros: none.... Cons: bad food, poor service more

Great Thin-crust Pizza! 5/20/2006

I've been here about 10 times and I've only ordered pizza. I've tried almost all of the specialty pizzas and they're all pretty darn good! The only downside would be that sometimes the edges of the crust would be burnt. To be honest, that never bothered me too much. It still tasted great! It had the perfect amount of toppings! If I wanted more bell peppers or tomatoes, I would've ordered a salad!!! My favorite is anything with their pancetta! Yum!! Pros: Great Pizza, Friendly Service Cons: Sometimes burnt crust more

Delicious Pizzeria 4/25/2006

This is our favorite pizza place by far! They serve Italian style pizza (thin crust and not too heavy onthe toppings and cheese) that is absolutely delicious. And they deliver free of charge! Try the pollo pizza with marinara sauce. more

Ralph should be ashamed 4/15/2006

Amici's pizza was by far the worst pizza I have ever had - worse then Pizza Hut. The first time we ordered it based on Ralph Barbierri's rave radio reviews - it was burnt, barely anything on it, and was horrible. We thought that might be a fluke. Another time with out of town friends just back from a trip to China and crazing pizza - I suggested this place. It was again burned, nothing on it, terrible, and a total rip off. I would never get their pizza again. BoardWalk pizza is 20 times better and they aren't even a pizza place. Pros: none Cons: burned, terrible taste, no toppings more

good pizza 3/12/2006

Amicis East Coast have a pretty good variety of pizza. They have a vegetarian pizza with egg plant which I don't find in many places. I also like their other vegetarian pizza, which is just tomatoes and garlic.\r \r I would skip their salads though. It is just really really boring. more

Good pizzas 3/11/2006

These are the thin crust style pizzas. I usually prefer thick crust, but if I'm force to go with my thin crust preferring friends, this is a pretty good choice. For simplicity, we like the margherita (basically just red sauce and cheese). There is also a roasted eggplant pizza. Avoid the green salad here, though. They barely chop things up, so it's just a bunch of big clunky veggies on a plate. more

By far the best pizza ever! 1/16/2006

Amicis has wonderful oven baked pizza and pastas. The salads are fresh and crisp and the service is wonderful. more

$20.00 pizza with almost no chicken! 12/10/2005

I was very disappointed with Amici's. We ordered a medium pizza ($20.00) on the thinnest of crusts, two pasta dishes ($30.00), a small pizza (for one child). It was expensive - especially since all four of us left hungry. Cons: Small servings, Chinzy toppings, Expensive more

Closest thing to Italian Pizza 6/21/2005

Wife's family is from Tuscany, and the pizza there is wonderful. Amici's is the closest thing to that pizza that we have found here in CA. Light, think crust, not overloaded with crappy toppings, and fresh! We love this place, either in Mt. View or Redwood Shores. more

Just like John's in The Village 9/9/2003

Finding this great pie made my trip to the Mtn. View street fair very worthwhile. Pros: great food, nice waitresses Cons: crowded more
