Because of what you guys offer, the word is going around. The program you offer I saw it in the truck magazine. I looked no further. It gives you the opportunity to own a truck. The last guy I worked for I made the truck payments but it was not my truck I was just driving it. I saw a different truck than the one I am getting, I am better pleased with the one I am getting I did not see this one on the internet or I would have asked about this one. more

I seen the ad online, before I came down, I spoke with someone on the phone. I came down got introduced to a couple of people, really friendly.  I seen the truck that i want, no hassle. I got into the truck, finance department was very easy, I really enjoyed working with the people here, there was no back and forth, really simple to the point, I encourage anybody to come down, they will get you financed! If it is something that you really want, if you want to get your own business started, what you need to do is look into these guys here, they will hook you up. You’ll be on the road making money. Very easy to get approved, no hassle, we sat down in the room before you know it we was in there and right out, I had no problem with that the financing part of it went real smooth. more

just bought this truck from Samantha, they’re are very good people, Thomas was the salesman on it, at Newnan GA and I am very pleased with the way they treated me here.\r As you can see I think its a nice truck, they’ve done alot to it,  and I’m a Christian and I believe in these people or I wouldn’t have bought it.\r So we gonna drive it back to Texas and Im gonna keep them informed on how it does, they ensured me that it’s DOT qualified. I looked it over and I believe in it. I’ve been trucking for 42 years and I know something decent when I see it. It’s not a new one but its the best Ive seen at any dealer I went or a used truck at this age for an 06. God bless ya’ll thankyou and Im fixin to head back. more

We have been driving for other companies for a while now and decided to buy our own truck. So we looked online (together), found americantrucks, called a salesman here, he told us what trucks he had in our price range, we came down test drove the truck, we liked it. everything they said they did. They also have a truckers advocate here which is in our favor.\r We came down, we got our new truck and we are ready to go in business for ourselves.\r We are are own boss now, we are making our own money,and better yet we are referring our friends here.\r We love our salesman , he called us everyday kept in contact with us, he was real persistant, we like that. more

This is my first time taking advantage of the 50/50 warranty so I see how that works out but as far as how I am successful at what I do is that I keep a good work ethic. I stay out on the road, I make sure I make my payments on time, It also helps to have some money put up or either a company that is going to back you so if problems do arise you don’t go into a hole and lose your truck. more

Now we get to go home, I have my truck equipped where I can drive it, I am an 11year paraplegic and soon I will be back to driving trucks like I was before I got hurt. \r Words of advice:\r if you got something you wanna do, follow your heart and do it. There is nothing in this world you can not do just because you are paralyzed.\r The equipment is ordered and on the way, we are just waiting for it to get in and be installed.\r We are trying to get the Chrome shop mafia to do it. more

We just came down here to buy two trucks. And this is the best experience I've had in buying a truck.\r Charlie and JC and Mrs. Patty, boy they just got it done faster than I thought they could, took a little long but they got it done really good and I'm happy with the job they done. I got everything I needed- including a free night in a motel.\r \r Having someone here with experience driving a truck helped get me a lot of answers and it helped get me the trucks that I needed. more

Travel to Gulfport, MS from Maryland was a bit challenging since not too many airlines fly to the area from Maryland. Was given wrong information at the connecting airport which thus caused us to miss our flight and stay overnight. This delayed our getting the truck deal closed and head back to MS. Our sales man  (J.C.) was wonderful. Never did get phone calls returned and e-mail replies from Lacey once we had already wired our security deposit and faxed our rental app with other requested documents.  Had difficulty determining info or extra funds we needed to have on hand other than 3% tax and closing costs, So we were not prepared to have to pay more for IRP & 2290 due to drop in communication. Other than that, we would recommend American Trucks. If there was a location up north on the east coast, that would be even better! more

I had my own truck before and I had a long run of bad luck. It did not end well and along with other things, I lost my truck. I am starting out on a new foot with these guys-being they have this guaranteed approval with no credit check. I have been waiting to get back into a long term commitment with a new truck and payments and steady work and all, so that is what took a minute to get me to here. I have always thought about getting another truck and I found a Red Pete that I fell in love with, so I drove down to give these guys a try. I must say, I am so glad I did this and now, there is no better time for me to pick myself up and get back out there. That is what you do when you fall down, you gotta get back up. Watch out , cuz here i come with my big red tractor, watch this horse go. more

I’ve been driving a truck close to about 3 years right now. I started driving in 2010 with Prime Inc. CHinesorp.-that’s where I got trained. I’m a college grad, I went to the University of Maryland. I have my MBA there. After working for my company and I got laid off because of the economy I decided to look for & retrain myself for a job where I don’t have to worry or think about loosing my job again. That’s how I got into the trucking business.\r The problem before I got here I looked at other truck sales companies. I went through their programs. I found that the program they have here at American Trucks is the best that I could go with, being a business person you want to get, work with a trucking company where you can get for one thing easy payment, low payment, something that you can leave with, and then a place where they would be concerned about your substance, that is- concerned about the appreciation of your truck. making sure your truck is working for you the way that you want it to work for you.\r Every other place you just go buy a truck and your out of the door, and that’s it. and they care less what you do with it and if you even succeed. They don’t care. but here they want to make sure your working and that you are on the road. \r As a matter of fact, \r since I was here someone called about his truck there was something that he didn’t know how to take care of and he called when I was there and he was taken care of. more

I had to travel to get to Gulfport,MS- a good stretch from Minnesota, but I must say it was worth the trip. I haven't had good credit since my divorce in 07 and I have been wanting to be independent -especially since I have the extra time on my hands. This really looked like a good opportunity for me. You see,I know this industry, I have been driving over 15 years now- but the program these guys have made me think about things I haven't considered and well- they got me started back up and ready to go. I have to say thanks. I came in for a 2010 387 and it is very nice. I like the way they treated me here, I like the way they helped me with my tags and insurance, you don't get that kind of help usually when you go to buy something. They actually give me direction, and I am not so sure all of the other guys out there realize the opportunity they present. I like the fact they didn't hassle me about my credit (that was a first in a long time) and I hope getting to the top on my own now is as easy as this has been. more

They helped me out when they had no credit check or if you had bad credit and can't get something somewhere else. I feel great, American Truck Group helped me become my own boss like they said, I am going to make it work for me and I hope I have a good success at it. I recommend them, because it is friendly here, Pretty much there is no stress,everyone makes you feel at home, and they do a good job on getting you in a truck and ready to go. They went over alot of things I didn't catch, and they caught it and fixed it in a timely manner-that is what impressed me the most. more
