I have spent $3,000 for hair removal treatments at American Laser Centers in Lynnwood, WA. I have been going there for more than three years even though they told me I would see results in 6 sessions. I am beggining to see results just now (after 3 years). So if they tell you that you will see results in 6 months, DO NOT BELIEVE THEM! unless you have a small amount of hair or it's too thin to even be hair. The first time I got my treatment, the clinician laughed when she saw me squirm with pain (SO DISRESPECTFUL). Too late to get out of the contract! I am only continuing the sessions because I want to get my money's worth, but if I could go back, I would go to another clinic, even if you have to spend more money. The KILLER was when they canceled my appointment due to staffing issues, (even after taking time off work and messing up my schedule) and they gave me another appointment for a later date. When I missed that, they charged me $75. When I asked the supervisor (Kelly) to waive the fee, she said she would not because it was a company policy. I explained to her that I had spent way too much money, I deserved to have the fee removed. She said she would not. I told her that I had referred two friends but that I would stop referring any people to their clinic. She acted like she didn't care and only said uh,hu, uh hu, the whole time I was speaking to her. she did not try to resolve the issue or did not even consider the fact that I am a good client. I told her I would write a letter to complain and she said ""go ahead, writte a letter, you are more than welcome."" I understand companies have their policies, but it does not mean they cannot be linient to their policies in order to keep their clients happy. I think it was not so much the fact that they charge the astronomical amount, it's the tone in which Kelly spoke to me. As a manager or supervisor, you want your clients to come back and get referrals and build a bigger clientel. It looks like that is not what she wants. She does not treat her clients with dignity or respect. I WILL NEVER, EVER go back to them for my next treatments. They do not care about their clients and I cannot believe they are still in business. Very POOR business practices and no customer service skills. I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED with such DISRESPECT. You would think I was aking for free money or for free services. I DISCOURAGE anybody from going to this business. My thought is 'there's plenty of fish in the sea' why go to a clinic where they treat you like a second class citizen.
