i agree with the whole payment thing. they could AT LEAST accept payments by phone, it is so inconvenient. all of my other utility companies allow phone, online, in person and mailed payments! Also, our usual pick up day is Wednesday but for some reason Christmas week in 2006 they came on thursday and didnt tell anybody. And it wasnt just me, even all of my neighbors put their garbage out on wednesday. Pros: they get the job done Cons: communication, payment methods more

Aloha Garbage is horrible. They regularly forget to pick up my trash (at least once a month). They pick up my recycling about every other week. When I call them and ask if I was missed, they have no way of telling and I always get the same speech like I was some child in kindergarten about how to sort and place my recycling for them to pick up. Why can't they leave a note and let me know that something is wrong so I can fix it for next week? I always have to guess, and I have figured out it's pretty useless to call. If people took the time to read their garbage brochure and followed it there would be no problem. I am thankful that someone even comes to pick up the garbage. My experience has been average. Nothing to complain about. more

Antiquated billing service, poor pickup service, horrible customer service. Unfortunately, it seems we're stuck with them. Rather than leave a note explaining any problems with the way garbage and recyclables are placed on the curb, they simply don't pick them up and leave you to wonder what happened. Then you have to call their customer service folks and guess as to what the problem might have been so that they don't screw you the next time around. So then you're stuck with garbage for a week unless you want to pay them some insane amount to get them to come back and do the pickup. A professional service would at least leave you some notice as to the problem and pickup the trash on the first notice of such a violation. This company does nothing of the sort. Very unorganized. Bad pick up service as well as customer service. they do not follow through to fix mistakes. They blame problems on the customers. more

A garbage company should Have paperless bill pay of some sort. This company requires you to mail or bring in your payment. There is no web pay or credit card by phone. This company Cons: No web pay available more

Regularly had problems w/pickups only to be informed that the company didn't believe we were putting our can out on time. Once or twice perhaps but 3 or 4 times? more
