Working with Mike and the Mandis team is a great experience! Prior to settlement Mike took the time to explain the nuances of settlement in terms we understood. We went to settlement confident that everything would be in place and, it was. Mike and the Mandis team made settlement the easiest part of our home buying experience! Our refinance experience was just as satisfying, it was quick, efficient, and everything was in place, we just had to sign. Excellent service! We highly recommend the Mandis team to everyone we know who is interested in buying, refinancing, or just curious about their mortgage or home buying options. more

Awesome company to deal with !!!! 11/6/2011

Dealing with Alliance Mortgage Funding was truly a wonderful experience!! Mike Mandis and his team are true professionals. They were there at every step to answer any questions and ease any worries. They are also very honest, Mr Mandis gave excellent advise with our mortgage. The realtor suggested we get a 40 yr mortgage so we could get more house. I am so glad thal I listened to Mike instead and went with a 30 yr He truly had what was best for us in mind. Honesty is such a breath of fresh air !!! Thanks Alliance Mortgage team more

They go the extra mile - without a stagecoach 11/4/2011

I usually favor big bank for my banking needs, but when it comes to mortgages, they can't compare the service of this local mortgage company. I got to talk to a real person, instead wading through a series on voice mail prompts, only to talk to different person each time, who was in another state. I dont need a bank/mortgage co. that has a stagecoach, I want one who knows what they are doing and one that cares. My loan officer at Alliance was professional, friendly, andalways available, even in the evenings. And she attended my closing , a nice touch. Closing was on-time, went smoothly, and was less $ than estimated. They've earned my business and referrals. more

Best Mortgage Broker in Maryland! 9/3/2011

Wow, Mike Mandis and his team are the best! Hands down....you won't find a better mortgage broker in Maryland! I just can't believe how easy he made everything and that I didn't get taken advantage of. I got a VA loan through Mike and it really was a pleasure. Don't bother looking around at other brokers. You're wasting your time! more

YES! AN HONEST MORTGAGE BROKER 5/14/2011

Beginning in 2001, when I bought my first house in Baltimore, this company (and Mike and Karen are still there today) made my life easy. I've got a good credit rating and yet it still is a detailed brain-damaging expereience to get a mortgage. \r Since that time I've refinanced 4 times and bought a new house, all with the able assistance of Mike Mandis and team. Most recently, with all the USA mortgage troubles, Mike and Alliance helped me ride out the storm. Even with our 700-760 credit ratings those folks bore up under the paperwork and endless time-consuming tasks required in today's environment.\r \r Service is more important when trying to fulfill your dream (buying a house) than anything. \r \r Ross Brechner MD more

If it wasn't for Alliance we would have lost this house! 5/12/2011

Someone you can count on.\r \r I had a bid on my home with a 24-hour kick out clause. If someone offered the full asking price, I had 24-hours to settle. The kick out clause was faxed to the real estate office after 5 P.M. on a July 4th. weekend. My agent paged me with the bad news. I knew that Mike was the only person that could possibly pull this off. He is always there for his customers, so I was able to call him on his cell phone. Despite a holiday weekend, Mike accomplished a miracle for me! He was able to get me financing and fax the paperwork in time to fullfill the contract. I have to add that he also got me a fantastic rate for the financing. As a first time home buyer, I was very overwhelmed by the process. Mike helped me understand all of the terms and put my mind at ease. I have complete trust in the fact that Mike always does what is best for his cutomers. Professional, Thorough and Friendly 5/12/2011

I would highly recommend Alliance Mortgage Funding and the Mandis team to anyone who needs mortgage financing. Mike and his staff guided me through the maze of paperwork and made certain I understood all that was happening during the entire process. In fact, Mike came to my home settlement and reviewed all the documents before I signed them. I've known Mike for many years and I can certainly vouch for his good character. This was the first time I used his services but I wish I had had the benefit his expertise and personal care in my previous home purchases ! If you need mortgage financing you won't find a better place to go than to Alliance Mortgage Funding. I assure you, you'll be happy that you did. Professional, Ethical & Competitive 12/16/2007

Having gone through the mortgage process five times, I expected much of the same frustrations with my move to Baltimore that I had in my previous experiences with lenders; poor follow up, higher than expected fees & last minute issues. But, when my realtor referred me to Mike Mandis and his team at Alliance Mortgage Funding, she assured me that they were professionals who would not let my family down. She was right. Their staff exceeded my expectations in every way. Knowledgeable, professional and honest, they treated us like friends.\r \r They even sent us copies of the local paper, the Sunday Sun, and Baltimore Magazine to us to help us get familiar with Baltimore. They day we moved in, they actually sent us a sandwich platter, which touched my family and me more than I could say. Alliance Mortgage Funding made a very stressful move to Baltimore much easier. It was like they held our hand right up to our new front door. I wouldn't consider anyone else when choosing a mortgage lender. Pros: They were available to us evenings and weekends. more
