Worst people to move with, They lie, Overcharge and break the stuff. I usually donot write the review but this time I decided so that other people should be carefull before moving...

Meaningful moving experience 2/28/2013

I've used All American Van Lines.. This was the first time I was moving my nursing home and being from paramedical profession I had huge of stuff and also was a lil concerned in moving it. I had hired a different moving company then moved when I had to move, 2 years back.. One thing I have learnt from my moving experience is to know what things is really required to move so that there is no confusion at a later date. .I had many large pieces and many antiques and they received detailed list from me and went through with it with each move.. I moved into my new apartment a few weeks ago and I've been so busy that I didn't write a review. All American Van Lines had been mediocre in their service. I called,them up and they gave me a reasonable price quote. They emailed me a confirmation email with the desired estimate and I filled out an inventory list and emailed it back to them. The movers who showed up were totally professional and prompt and the move went smoothly. I had a studio apartment and I was only moving a short distance, and the whole move was completed in 3 hours and at a reasonable price. more

Good decision in hiring them 2/22/2013

Don't even think of moving yourself! Call guys from All American Van Lines . I was doing a small move and was going to rent a truck and impose the duty on some friends. Then I decidedto contact them via email and they reconfirmed back. On the moving day they reported at 12:15, and had finished the move by 2:15. The two movers were incredibly polite and hardworking and took the trouble to protect the furniture and my house too. Their rates were posted on-line - the hour including the truck, two movers, pads for the furniture) cost $400. I'm never moving myself again! Moving myself would have taken me all day and probably cost me a few friends! I will definitely use them again. more

Right moving service 2/21/2013

From start to finish, my experience with All American Van Lines came out positive. They helped me move on when friends and other moving companies were not ready to help. .The guy at the sales office took my information, quoted me accurately, followed up and made sure the necessary documentation was filed with the manager of my new building. They showed up on time to the first location and packed all my furniture in flash.. At the destination, everything was unloaded and ready to go much faster than expected. They even shaved off the time they took to grab drinks on the way to my new place. This company comes recommended. more

All American Van Lines did a good job. I have used them two times before and had obtained great results each time. The movers and and the foreman were wonderful. They not only did a great job of moving everything but were it was also very pleasant to have them around and they helped with a lot of extra little things to my new place. I was amazed by how fast they got the truck packed. Three flights of stairs did not slow them down one bit. Nothing got damaged and they did the entire job without taking a break. Thanks. more

Expet a better service next time 2/17/2013

All American Van Lines was recommended to us by a colleague. I called the sales dept and came out impressed and decided to book them for our move. On the moving day four guys came at our premises, all of them were experienced and communicated clearly with us. Since it was raining on that day we encountered some electricity issues and they managed to take good care of our sofa cum bed through the dark staircase as the elevator was not in a proper condition The only issue I faced in hiring these guys was they arrived in too late and owed it to the bad weather condition. A 10-15 min delay is tolerable but these guys were about one half hour late and thus finished up late which in a way disrupted my schedule. more

All American Van Lines gave us an estimate that almost was like a deal come true. They quoted me 5 hrs of total...and it took them only 4. . At one point in time I was outside my old house just to be out of the way and the guys were actually running from one point to another. These guys handled everything with perfect care and I would recommend and also use them again. To top it all I got a phone call from the sales rep this morning asking me if we were missing a lampshade as they had one on the truck and were not sure who it belonged to so they were calling all the customers for the past couple of days. I have moved quite a bit and this was by far a memorable experience to share. more

Good job and Great sense of humour 2/15/2013

We were recommended All American Van Lines through a common friend.. The guys at the booking knew their job well and served us with all our queries and concerns On the day of the move the team was careful with our stuff and had a great sense of humor I was especially thrilled because we had tons of delicate glassware and chinaware...and every piece was expected to arrive undamaged. I reminded the foreman to be very careful when unpacking a particularly prized vase of mine and he did his best to assure me but at the end I believe that this company took great care of our things. I got help in moving my stuff and these guys from All American Van Lines knew what they were doing and they did it well. They treated all my items with great care and respect . In the process nothing got broken as they wrapped all my furniture and seeked my approval as I wanted the stuff to be placed, and made the move fun. They were a team of 3 devoted and worked together with much attitude for such grueling work.\r \r The cost was over what was estimated on the phone and it seemed to take longer than expected, but what the hell it was simply worth it.. Watching these guys work those muscles surely helped to take the stress away! more

We moved a partial household from Farmingdale, NY to Silver Springs,. The movers came later on the day they were supposed to arrive than they said they would but as long as they came that day, I was fine with it. They did an excellent job, wrapping up the furniture and packing the truck. They worked hard the whole time. The furniture was delivered the day that they said they would even though they will not guarantee an arrival date. The communication with the sales person was prompt and efficient, as well as the dispatcher. There was a mistake on the weight that was originally used to determine the final price, but even though I had overpaid the agent movers in cash, they refunded the overpayment promptly. Christina was our sales person and she helped me with the problem and I am extremely happy with the results, not only of the problem resolution but the entire move that went exactly as planned. more

These guys from All American Van Lines are wonderful! Totally professional, nice and affordable! After helping me paint, my friends declared that they wouldn't be helping me move--apparently four flights of stairs are too many? Movers from All American Van Lines had totally saved me. After calling around to different companies to schedule a somewhat last minute move--7 days away from the date needed--they gave me the cheapest estimate . The move took about 3.5 hours and came in exactly at the estimated price. If I have to move again--really hoping it's not for a while. My only concern was that due to some reason they did not accept payment thru card on that day and I had to arrange for a cashier’s cheque from my bank which caused some inconvenience otherwise their service was not bad. more

After finishing school and buying real furniture and then trying to move it a couple of times, I realized that my back couldn't take it anymore I decided to book up All American Van Lines on my own.I had to move two floors worth of furniture and the foreman and his moving guys moved all of it in no time. It was a memorable experience they even put each item into its designated room. It was a decent moving experience. The only thing that annoyed me was there phone calls on multiple occasions just to confirm my physical address. Which was ridiculous !!! more

I called up All American Van Lines to see if they could move my 2-bedroom house in the next few days. Incredibly, they said they could be at my house that very same day in a few hours, which was perfect for me because I wanted to get the move done over the weekend and I was all packed. The 2 man crew, showed up on time and were presentable,, professional, and also prompt. They obviously cared about not damaging any of our stuff and they also knew what they were doing and took pride in doing it right and doing it in the right manner .. They also noticed us packing up some fragile items ourselves to take in our car and told us a safer way to pack them. Thanks guys. more

I looked on here to find a good moving company for my most recent move on Yahoo, and All American Van Lines really came through. They were reasonably priced, super nice and polite. On the day of the move , showed up on time, and hustled throughout the whole move. They were careful with the large pieces too (including our giant flat screen tv). No easy task when running up and down three flights of stairs ... I also like how they acted like moving my stuff was easy for them, so I didn't feel badly watching them carry 2 or 3 giants boxes at a time ON THEIR BACK all morning. These guys were hard core. Would highly recommend them and would definitely use them again for my next move. Thanks Ronnie. more

I was very pleased with the moving services 1/12/2013

I was very pleased with the moving services I received through All American Van lines. From the initial phone call, the reminder phone call the day before, to the prompt morning arrival, to the packing and moving, these guys were top notch. Very professional, quick, and friendly. They had good common sense, too, making sure they were packing the right things, and checking in before they packed something that seemed like it should be separated, like a set of keys I had left out. Also, they came by last night to pick up some boxes left over from the move. All my things made it safely and securely to my new apartment in 3.5 hours, which included packing, moving, drive time and unloading. They quoted more like 4 or 5 hours and I was pleased and relieved to have everything done by 11:30 am! I booked them because of the Yahoo reviews Great job, guys! more

I've used several moving services over the years, and every time it has cost an approx of 15-20% more than the estimate. Not so with All American Van Lines. ! On the day of the move,the moving team showed up on time and had a great attitude, they moved everything with a smile, seemed to care about doing it correctly, and finished up earlier than anticipated. The moving crew had a great attitude which I really appreciated on what's normally a very stressful time. Like everyone mentions, they were extremely efficient and I was also marveling at their ability to carry things up & down stairs. I cannot comment much about their service Great Service overall! more

Any thought about moving or relocation doesn’t go down well with me because of the hectic activity it involves in but I had to move, and I was especially bitter this time since I had got to move a few blocks away and had no choice to call in for the movers because my friends were unwilling to help so I decided to go with All American Van Lines. .On the moving day I had a large pullout sofa that weighed a metric ton which I thought had no chance of making it into my new place. I put my faith in the crew and they did not disappoint us. I can say they are competent and will make short work out of your move, more

Totally convinced 1/1/2013

I called up All American Van Lines on a a recommendation of a friend and they were friendly and helpful in providing us with all the knowledge we required as it was supposed to be our first move. I was very much convinced and decided to go forward and book them for the coming weekend. On the day of the move the 2 man crew arrived at our doorstep just on time and started to work in coordination and made the entire moving process go with ease. They were helpful and accommodating to my ever changing needs. With little direction and they boxed up all the stuff and crammed it into one container. Overall goodjob. more

Courteous and Adorable guys 12/31/2012

The guys from All American Van Lines were adorable. All I know is that my family really liked their service and all of our stuff was moved and unbroken when I got to our new apartment. I set up the move and their phone courtesy was great and so was their pricing. We had to move all of our crap and they finished in a total of 3 hours which was right was just in time. I was satisfied when they did not ask for any other additional fees for fuel consumed in excess or toll charges as we were out of city limits. Thankyou Guys. more
