Cute, classy, and fun! 9/2/2003

It was my first time at the salon. I had an appt. with the owner. I had been going to another local salon and was very unhappy with my color. All I had to do was show my picture (one I had been showing the other salon) and talk awhile with Teresa, and I walked out of Evolution with the hair color I've wanted forever. What great work this girl does. I have to admit I was a little taken back when I met her she looks so young, but young or old she is a very talented young lady. more

Evolution Salon is a great spot to get a wonderful cut, hot color, and top service. I love this salon. The girls are so cool, they listen, they do, and they make you feel so ""at home"" about the whole thing. There is not much more to say. Just go see it for yourself. more

The place to be 6/26/2003

Evolution is a great salon. I have had my hair done there about a dozen times. My sisiters go, as well as a few of my friends. Whenever someone tells me my hair looks great (and it happenes alot), I tell them you have to go to Evolution!!!!!!!! Pros: my hair looks great!! more

Great place, hot deco, nice people, top talent. I've seen them all and Evolution is the best by far. My hair ALWAYS looks good, and best part of it all, I can actually do it myself when I get home. All of us know those haircuts that look good while your in the salon, but you cant get it that way on your own when your home. Teresa has something great going. Keep it up girl, I'm proud of you!!!!!!!! Pros: Teresa and her great, staff!!!!!!!!! Cons: only bad thing is if, you dont give them, a try!!!!!!!!!!! more

Cool new place 6/23/2003

I am a new client of Evolution salon. I had my first appt. Saturday with my stylist Teresa. I hate getting my hair cut because I never know what I want . But Teresa was great she sat with me for half an hour just getting diffrent ideas on new haircuts. My hair came out great. I have a short new do and I love it. The staff at Evolution are wonderful, they really care about their clients. Not to mention the salon looks so cool. Pros: service, price, staff more

It was my first visit to Evolution. My appt was for color and a cut. My stylist was great. She worked with me to find the look I was going for. Her suggestions were sincere and right on. A salon just for me 6/6/2003

I was truly taken back by Evolution salon. I have been a Queens girl for many years now, and if you have seen one salon in Queens you have seen them all. Well not true when it comes to Evolution. I walked in and felt like I was in a salon in the middle of the west village. Wine!!!, they offer you a glass of wine while you wait. Thats so cool. My hair was just as cool. I have had highlites my entire adult life. I still got highlites but my stylist suggested I get more then one color blonde put into my hair, and I love it. It looks so natural, yet still not so natural. I dont know how I would explain it. But let me just say Evolution, you are the best. Pros: salon, staff, price more

Well I WAS a big Bay Terrece Christie client, until I gave the girls at Evolution a chance. I was very impressed with the service, and beauty of the salon. The ladies are very sweet and talented. My wedding day 5/12/2003

I recently got married and had my hair and makeup done by the staff. They not only made me look like a princess they made me feel like one too. My wedding party didnt look so mad either (just kidding girls, we all looked great). I got so many compliments at the wedding. I jut wanted to thank Sherry, Teresa, and Kara for everything. Evolution is the best! 2/23/2003

I LOVE this place! Hip, friendly, and fun - I thought I was in Manhattan for a minute it's so well decorated. I walked in and felt as if I already knew the girls there. They were so friendly and made me feel at home. I didn't have to wait at all. Teresa (sp?) (the owner) helped me find a style that I wanted and did a beautiful job highlighting my hair. The cut is great. I have such thick hair and so much of it - she managed to thin it out for me. It looks so much better, and is so much easier to manage. I will definitely be going back to this salon - and many thanks to the girls that were there!!! Pros: AFFORDABLE, VERY FRIENDLY, TALENTED Cons: NONE, NONE, AND NONE more

Impressed!!! 1/15/2003

I am of the mature generation, and my thoughts on evolution salon was that it was very young and too funky for me, i didnt believe they could do my hair. well my daughter who is a faithful client of evolutions finally got me to give them a try. Well to say the least i am sorry i didnt go soonr, they did a wonderful job on my hair both color and cut, yes my blow-out was definetly more up to date but i love it and will be returning in a few weeks. more

The very best 1/8/2003

the salon i was going to for years recently closed, i looked high and low for another good salon. i walked into evoluion to give it a try. i was so happy with the work and attitude of the salon. i got one of the best haircuts ever, and was treated with the up most respect. i have never been to a salon that served wine before, it was great. since my visit i have recomended the salon to a few of my friends, and now i recomened it to all, you'll love it.
