I had a leak from my toilet that was dripping down to my living room ceiling below. This house was built in 1938 and the toilet was original. I knew that most plumbers want to replace the toilet under those circumstances. We wanted to try to save it for various reasons. Stanley told me my options and the possible consequences. I told him to proceed. He worked very hard and managed to rescue the toilet. This company charges by the job so even though he worked for several hours the price was not outrageous. He was also a delight to have working in my house. Both he and his assistant were polite, neat, and positive the entire time they were at my house. They even fixed some of the parts inside the old toilet. It was rare to find such excellent service during an emergency. I would ask for them by name next time. more

Every aspect of my contact with Albert Nahman Plumbing has been just great. I called on Friday to say that the faucet for a tub/shower - original plumbing from 1964 - had broken - a junior plumber had looked at it and said the cartridge needed to be replaced and it was beyond his skill. I had the pleasure of speaking with Diane Harvey who suggested that if I could e-mail a picture of the problem she would ask a technician to look at it and see if it were feasible to repair - and save me a service call expense. I sent the picture and a while later Diane called to advise that she was still followig u[p but that she fhadn't been able to get anyone to look at it yeat. Anohter short while later she called to say that it would be possible to replace the valve, gave me a price, and helped me schedule an appointment for Monday. The plumber, Marlon O. was right on time - very professional but friendly. He worked very cleanly and repaired the shower as promised. He explained the warranty for the repair and offered his company's service for any future need. more

Fernando arrived on time. He informed me how long it would be before he turned the water off. He let me know he was turning it off, then later when he turned it back on. He worked quickly, efficiently, and unobtrusively. He left the bathroom as clean as he found it. The bill was the same as the estimate. I was very pleased with Fernando and the Albert Nahman Company, which has done work for me in the past. more

Carrie's work in our home was superb. She came in, assessed the problem, returned the next day and worked for several hours removing the old toilet and installing a new one with an attention to the work that was consistent and ultimately finished to her and my satisfaction. She is pleasant and easy to talk to about what she was doing. It was also delightful to have a woman doing this formerly all male kind of work. Though her 'title' is Apprentice I would ask for her again. A really pleasant experience. Thank you for sending her out to us. more
