Good job 2/4/2011

I just started out doing this kind of work and its pretty good so far. I wouldn't have know what to do on set or even how to get started getting work but Actors Reps helped me tremendously. It was certainly a fortunate thing because on my first gig for 30 Rock I ended up doing more than background and would've been lost If I hadn't had the information that was provided by Actors Reps. So I'm thankful and they do a good job! more

Just started 1/28/2011

I just started with this agency and have gotten Too big to fail, Hillshire farm ad, Blue bloods and Friends with kids. I have to say I'm impressed but I think I really have what it takes to book the work. They have been helped me understand everything, even assisted fine tuning my resume! more

So I been at this since like 05 and this agency has gotten me everything from the Sopranos to Julie and Julia......plus a brouchure and a commercial. The latter two I prefer ofcourse.......more mula, ha. Either way as long as I'm looking they seem happy to book me. more

I''m unique but still working. 1/27/2011

Hmmm well Actors Reps booked on one of my favorite shows ""The Good Wife""........been waiting for that one. See I waited for a bit to get booked on that one because well not every project is going to be for my type but when I do get booked for certain projects I get great pay. I'm not the normal kind of look, I'm a bit unique so I can't just play the father or a mail man. I've been with AR for about 6months and have had a good amount of work in that time and not just extras either, thats not to say I won't take extras because well that's where I meet the best connections. Been Around 1/26/2011

Well I first went to Actors Reps a number of years ago and after I kept running into a few of the same people on many of the sets I worked. We all evenually became a great group of friends who all look out for each other in the industry. As a matter of fact we are all working next week for Oxford instruments. more

Do get work 1/25/2011

I've actually received a good amount of work from Actors Reps......I just finished the good wife. coincidentally my wife has done even better with getting work then I have. she landed a commercial for Ursus Vodka this summer....they always pay the best. So they do get you work from what we experienced. more

Perhaps 1/25/2011

Doing extra work isn't my main form of income but it helps to get connections for my music and what not. I've been using Actors Reps services for a couple of years now and haven't had any complaints. I feel like I'm a good type and I'm guessing that might be the reason I get booked often. My last gig with them was Too big to fail which seemed to go alright....they just sent me a week ago for a Lens crafters commecial audition too. They have always been helpful and understanding with when I needed work. I can certainly say they've done right by me! more

Been with them for a year 1/24/2011

Ok before I got with these guys I thought about it for a long time cause well I didn't knowwhat I wanted to do in life. Since I made the decision I'm pretty happy with what has unfolded. Not only have they supplied numerous jobs in the past year including the set I was just on, ""The Good Wife."" They also schooled me on how to get jobs on my own and what to expect in the auditions I was sent on. Thankfully they did cause it helped land me a fire alarm commercial and a vodka commercial. I now use other agencies and they don't frown upon it.....they still send me on thier projects too.........I can't complain :) more

I don't care what anybody says 1/23/2011

In this life you get what you give.....so If your booked on a set and don't do the right thing or conduct yourself in the right mannor then production may ask casting that you not return. But like my self I show up on time and i'm well manored on set, actually I'm often asked to return to other productions because I act professionally. When Actors Reps booked me for my first set they helped me to know what was expected and what I should do, it helped alot because I was very nervous......they're great for beginners. I don't care what anybody says about them they have personally given me alot of work. more

I’ve been doing this acting thing for quite a while and you get your work where you can get your work. So you don’t just use one place, you use as many agencies as you can. Some companies have work on projects that another company may not have, so this is why you should stay in good graces with all of them. You never know who has an opportunity waiting for you. Personally I like Actors Reps because they have provided me many opportunities over the years. Everyone’s experience will be different but it’s also how you look at it, I mean if you don’t know too much about the business and have a negative reaction then perhaps it’s not the situation at hand but what you think the situation should be. One thing I can say for sure about Actors Reps is that they’re great for beginners. more

Actors Reps is the Biggest SCAM SCAM SCAM stay far away 1/19/2011

Actors Reps is the oldest trick in the book and the biggest SCAM EVER... I went to their new office which is not in times square but on 35st (guess they move around allot because people catch on quick) by the way its small and dirty they call you in a little room to read a script>> the next day you call some guy who tells you (you have made it now all you have to do is get headshots from his over prices photoghrapher) yea ok!! \r Dont fall for this scam they just sell you a dream oh yea and over priced headshots!! you can find REAL ACTING JOBS FROM BACKSTAGE more

If youa re lucky you'll get extra work and court or game shows, if you are unlucky, they will never call you and you wwill get rejected. I sent in a headshot and a resume and read a script for them. They say I look pretty and I look like a talented actress. Those liars, never gave me one job after many lies, and Richard Brannon is a drunk and that other guy Ray is a pervert trying to hit on my married mother. This is no way to make a living. You'll never be a movie star. Making it into SAG (screen Actors Guild) would be a miracle and the union. Their office in the heart of times square is dirty and you don't have a chance with them more

I've been with Actors Reps before, about 7 years ago and worked on OZ, Third Watch, Bone Collector and some other projects. They were good back then so I'm using them again. I want to get back into the biz and they were cool about getting me started a second time. I was booked on a HBO show right away, so in my opniniom they still got it! more

Well what can I say, I've had a good experience with them so far. I was booked on a film with , Ben Stiller.....love him, I think it was called Tower Heist....they also sent me to an audition for a commercial. I didn't get it but it was a good learning experience. Overall they have been fine as far as I'm concerned! more

Here we go again 9/15/2010

In the late 80's I worked for Actors Reps and landed an ITT commercial among other projects. Now I'm getting back into this field, so I turned to Actors Reps for work. I reintroduced myself on Friday and had fun going down memory lane. Next they booked me Monday on a new film with John Leguizamo and Rosie Perez. Glad I made the choice to pick up where I left off, now that my kids are grown. more

Upgrade me! 9/3/2010

Actors Reps sent me to set for Ursus Vodka as one of several extras that they provided and I was upgraded to a principle part with a dancing bear. I was told I got lucky to get an upgrade on one of my first sets but in my opinion it was meant to be and I'm on my way!! more

I have to say thanks again to Actors Reps for the job I'm working on now. It's working out very well for me, since it is 5 minutes from my sisters house where I'm spending the holiday weekend. Plus set is wrapping early! : ) more
