I just paid my final %10 for ""Arthur!"" I just want to take time to say thanks to Actors Reps for introducing me to the entertainment industry this summer, its has been a great experience. Soon I'm going back to college studying theater and film but after graduation I plan to establish a long-lasting mutually, beneficial relationship with Actors Reps. Worth the time!!!!!!!! 9/1/2010

I was referred by a friend who has been there. He spoke of the pretty girls up front so i wanted to see for myself......................... Since i went i realized it is the real thing. I've been on the Sopranos, Law and Order, Sex and the City, A few commercials, and just recently went on Something Borrowed, Lights out and Arthur. Being on set is fun and long, but it is worth it. more

Solid! 9/1/2010

Firstly I didn't have to pay and second they sent me to some great auditions and third I've gotten some good sets from them. They do what an agency is supposed to be doing! Plus I only had to give 10% Hey, when I'm getting paid 500 for a set then what is 50 bucks! more

In my experience 8/29/2010

Well in my experience I went in had an audition, they liked me and then they actually offered me work the very day I went in for the audition. I've worked on alot of projects since then I did Enchanted,"" ""Duplicity,"" ""Taking of Pelham 123,"" ""step Up 3D,"" ""Something Borrowed"" and the list goes on and on and I have two waivers for S.A.G. I need one more and I can join! So I get extras and have only done one commercial but it's a start and I'm pretty happy with them : ) more

Check it out! 8/25/2010

I went there and they booked me on a bunch of sets. Not only did I get booked but they never asked me for a fee. Maybe people out there don’t know this but from my experience in this industry as a beginner, everyone seems to just ask for a fee. Then I never get any work. These guys just booked me straight up and didn’t ask for a dime. Do they have all the work in the world probably not but they have some good gigs like I just worked on “The Good Wife,” “Curb your Enthusiasm,” “Lights out” and I have one coming up for “The miraculous year.” All in all, this place is solid! more

I’m with Actors Reps 8/25/2010

I’m actually a flight attendant and I’ve been with Actors Reps for years doing extra work as part time hobby, what can I say I love people and sets are full of people. I was recently submitted by Actors reps for a new TV show “The Miraculous year” and was chosen to work, so I’m looking forward to being on set again. It’s just the best feeling to follow your dreams……...we can’t all be super stars but at least we can try. I just want to let everyone know that if I can do it then I’m sure you can do it!!! more

Just want to share 8/24/2010

Hmmmm not sure what is going on here but I just want to share my own experience with you about them. I'm not from NY like many others here in the big apple. I was interested in doing some extra work to be on set and get my foot in the door with a production crew. Trough Actors Reps I've been on more then a few sets, I must say my favorite was with Larry David on ""Curb your Enthusiasm."" I haven't established enough of a connection to work with a crew but I'm just about there. Actors Reps will help me out with a couple more sets and I know I can make it happen. These guys ain't no joke!!!! They're the real thing!!! more

Been with these guys for years 8/24/2010

Wow, I've been with Actors Reps for a few years and they never, never, never, asked me for anything unless they booked me on a job and I got paid first. As a matter of fact I just paid a commission of 12 dollars for ""Arthur"" a film I did a couple of weeks ago with my cocktail dress. So I don't know what that post is talking about? I NEVER PAID ANYTHING BUT A 10%COMMISSION!!!!!! ENOUGH SAID!!!!!!! more

WRONG!!! 8/23/2010

Yo, I’m a client and you are WRONG!! Actually you are probably the place on the 2nd floor of the building that they just moved into. You guys on the 2nd floor took me for 108 bucks and my cousin you got for almost 500……..you are the real culprits!!!!! How can you live with yourself taking peoples money for horrible unprofessional digital shots? If anyone wants to check out the place on the 2nd floor MX model whatever it is then just check the Department of Consumer affairs, Better Business Bureau, or better yet Help Me Howard on WPIX11 NEWS!!! Because of you guys is why I checked out Actors Reps with the better business bureau only to find out they have a perfect track record! For all others potential actors, you should NEVER, NEVER give money to any agency, development blah blah blah company or anyone before you get any work ever!!!!!!!!! more

I took my 10 year old little boy to Actors Reps and they were good to us. They got him an audition for a cartoon network commercial and he got it! We are really happy to have him working because I've been trying to get him something in this industry for the past two years and finally this agency did it for him! more

I've been in the business field for a while now but really needed something different........... even just as a hobby. I found it right here at this place, they've set me up with a few jobs on T.V. shows but the best gig I've gotten is a commercial for Jacoby and Meyers. I had an actual part it was great just to say I was in a commercial! more

I auditioned for Actors Reps last week.. I just got called today to work 3 days on The Good Wife one of my favorite T.V. Shows.... I can't wait.. I was not expecting to get called so quickly.. Hopefully this is the beginning to a new relationship!! : ) more

Wasn't what I expected 8/13/2010

I'm an old timer and I've been trying my hand at this acting thing. I finally found this place and they only ask I pay a 10% commission after I work on a gig........that is the best thing I've heard all year. I know its just extra work but hey I have to catch a break somewhere! Maybe I can get a bit part.....you never know. : ) more

I got a waiver!!!!! 8/12/2010

I'm a client of Actors Reps along with a few other agencies.....gotta eat right! They know I use other places for work and they don't frown upon it, they are a part of this industry just like everyone else. But unlike everyone else they actually lined me up for a SAG waiver, which no other agency has yet to do for me. Weather I was at the right place at the right time, I don't know but I'm grateful. more

Alright so I went there and they were very friendly and have gotten me a few jobs. One on a XEROX Web Commercial and another for background on a Arthur. Of course the pay was much better for the web commercial but I found a good connection on the film Arthur for another project. I would say that Actors Reps is a good place for beginners. more

OK So this is me 8/11/2010

I've been a client for about a month and have done some pretty cool projects, like Good Wife, Arthur, The Miraculous year and Curb your enthusiasm. More recently I landed a Citibank Industrial and man let me tell you the difference in pay is significant!!!!!!!! If I could have a gig like that every week I would be set for life! One can only dream! lol more

Totally new! 8/4/2010

I went to Actors Reps this past Saturday with my identical twins and they loved em, put them on that new film ""Arthur on yesterday where they got SAG waivers. I was told we were lucky as these waivers are hard to come by. I was just amazed at how they placed my twins in the same part just switching them when they needed. It was so interesting, I can't wait for the next project. I definitely recommend these guys!!!!! more
