This was the 2nd time I asked Action to fix something at my house and they continue to be on time and inexpensive. They fixed my A/C in no time and were very nice. more

worked for me 3/28/2012

I was looking through all the reviews for the A/C people in town and wasn't sure since there were negative and postive reviews for all of them. What can you do though. I called Action for their tune up special and was mildly surprised that they were so open to my time and schedule. They were able to get somebody to come out after I got off of work and did a tune up on my A/C before we started running it all the time. Well I thought they did a good job - so giving them a good review. more

great plumbing!! 3/22/2012

I didn't realize my disposal was broken till it was too late. It sounded like it was working but turned out it was sucking things down the drain whole which clogged up the drain and kitchen sink. Luckily I was able to get Action out the next day and they had the problem fixed in like 20 minutes. I'm glad I didn't have to do it and that it didn't cost to much. more

It took some time but my house is back to normal 3/21/2012

I was actually about to get on here and right a bad review, but these guys redeemed themselves Monday. I waited over a week for them to get back to me about the black soot forming on the walls and ceiling of my house. They originally told me that I would have to get a new furnace but would do some research. Well I found out that it only needed a really thorough cleaning after I googled it. They called me back finally when i was about to call somebody else and came out and cleaned the furnace. Now that I have cleaned my house from top to bottom, things are working really well and the soot is gone. I may have had to put my foot down but these guys scored when it mattered. more

Don't trust the high rated reviews! 3/17/2012

Don't bite! A $33 ""deal"" Action advertises on the radio would be well worth it if they ever figure out how to show up to an appointment on time. After scheduling my appointment 3 weeks in advance for a simple furnace tune up, I spent over 5 hours waiting on a Saturday, rescheduled for the next weekend as a ""priority"" only to be trumped by another ""high priority"" call 10 minutes before my scheduled time. Joanne, the receptionist is worthless as well. Doesn't quite get what good customer service means... Don't use Action! Unless of course your time isn't worth anything! more

Turned Off My Furnace in Winter to Force Sale 3/15/2012

Called to get the $35 special to tuneup my older but well functioning furnace in winter. Salesman arrived and ""red tagged"" my furnace claiming it was unsafe and failed his safety inspection due to ""deficiating chambers."" (He claimed to have performed a ""light cleaning"" but we saw no evidence of this.) He terrified our tenants claiming that most CO detectors don't work, that the furnace was potentially dangerous and the heat must be turned off and the furnace replaced ASAP--despite no reaction from our detectors. We then called a trusted professional referred by family to do a weekend replacement of the furnace ASAP since Action Plumbing had declared an emergency and our tenants would be without heat. He gave us a fair bid & took all the measurements for the furnace. However, in his inspection he told us there was NO SAFETY PROBLEM with our furnace and that it likely had years of useful life. We installed a 2nd brand new detector in the room NO SIGN OF PROBLEMS. Having scheduled the furnace replacement and gotten the measurements, we chose to go ahead at this point and replace the furnace anyway with someone we trusted. However, this cost us thousands of dollars at a time when we really couldn't afford it--all because Action Plumbing had declared an emergency that a 2nd professional told us didn't exist. Recommendation: Have a reputable company do your tuneups in summer so a company can't create an ""emergency"" and turn off your heat to strongarm you into replacing your furnace at high cost. If you want to pay $35 for a sales pitch and have your heat turned off unnecessarily in winter, call Action Plumbing more

These guys were great! I was able to get an appointment within a week, they were on time, fixed my water heater quickly and I was able to get back to work in no time. more

Do not trust these reviews. They are obviously being writtten by an online reputation service. Each is written in the same format and each sounds like a commercial. When you have to hire an agency to manage your bad reviews you know there is a problem. more

Smokey Air 3/7/2012

We have central air and heat and one of my kids turned on the air over the weekend. By the time I realized what they did and put the heat back on, there was an aweful smokey smell coming from the vents. I called Action monday morning and they were able to have somebody come out that afternoon to take a look at it. Luckily i just needed a tune up. I was thankful for their availability and their pricing as they gave me their coupon rate for the repair. more

Bathroom remodel 2/27/2012

We were wrapping up our bathroom remodel project - but my husband screwed up something with the pipes and water wasn't coming out correctly. Action was able to send somebody over Saturday afternoon and work with us to make sure everything was good to go and running correctly in the bathroom. They kept the charge low and we were even more thankful finally getting that project finished. more

Sewer line cleaned work gloves/tampons/debris left 2/27/2012

Feb 22 Action sent Ryan/Amacor, plumbing experts, who cleared main sewer line from roof in Rose Park and needed 150 foot cable cutter to flush system. However, they left their work gloves, tampons, and other bacterial debris in the back yard just 2 feet from the garbage cans exposing a young family and a small dog overnight. Sent e-mail to the company, and call customer service Wendy to let manager know about the problem. No response since Feb 23rd thru 11am today 2/27/2012. more

Plumbing Experts 2/23/2012

Action was the 2nd company that I called to come out and fix my sink. I couldn't tell where the problem was coming from but the garbage disposal wasn't working and everything was backing up. The other company quoted thatI would have to replace pipes, the disposal and some wiring. I called Action for a 2nd opionion and they simply did some minor maintenance and in an hour everything was working great! more

On time, right price 2/22/2012

Our water heater completely shut down this morning. I called Action and somebody picked up at 6 a.m. I thought I was gonna have to leave a message and then miss work. They were able to come out first thing this morning and replace a few maintenance piece on the water heater and kept the cost down. They kept to their word and that means a lot to our family. more

A Tune up was all I needed 2/14/2012

I freaked out the other night when my year old furnace started shooting out cold air. I called action for some answers and the explained that perhaps all I needed was a furnace tune-up. They were right. I didn't realize how much maintenance appliances like that are needed. They came out that day, tuned up my furnace and it works great now. more

Looked out for me 2/7/2012

I called Action a few days ago with a problem with my sump pump. They said they were really busy and weren't sure when they could get up there, scheduling me an appointment 2 weeks out. I was kinda frustrated and after waiting for a few days, I was about to cancel and call somebody else. But they they called me back and said they had a cancellation and could come out saturday. This happened to work out perfect, so I wouldn't have to take off from work. They were fast in fixing the problem, did a good job and it was comforting knowing that they were at least looking out for me. more

power outage proglem fixed 1/23/2012

Wow... I can't believe the storm we got on Saturday. My family and I went up to ski and when we got back it turned out there was a power outage and our furnace never came back on. The house was freezing! We tried a few things like checking fuses and stuff - but couldn't get it up and running again. We called Action Plumbing and they came out within a few hours, reset the furnace, cleaned it up a bit and got it back up and running. The best part was that they only charged us the tune up fee. Great company! more

timely & efficient 1/19/2012

I own a few condos around town and it is important to me that they are happy so that I get rent on time. Recently the sink stopped working which was due to some corroded pipes. I called Action and they were able to come out during my tenants schedule and replace the pipes. They were easy to work with and the bill was less than I expected. I'll definitely call them in case something happens at any of my other rentals. more
